@daltonbrewer My new Tesla Y came with trial version of FSD and I used it daily during the trail period…but didn’t really care for it…was a little bored just sitting there letting the car drive itself. I love my Model Y and really enjoy driving it. FSD isn’t for everyone.

I genuinely feel bad for anyone who can’t just tap a button and let the car take them straight to their destination like Tesla FSD. It’s wild that people are still out here in 2026 driving with their hands on the steering wheel and feet on the pedals. Just being honest…

Tesla needs to continue to evolve their Self-Driving pricing model to increase adoption. With a product this good, sales should be going vertical. It's time to ask some hard questions about what's not working. What do you all think?

1 Year of registration on my 2026 Model Y in Arizona: $892.65. This is for year 2. Year 1 was more expensive since they depreciate it over time. About 2.8% of cars value.

Regretfully, I’ve been informed by a boomer in a diesel F-350 that my Sierra EV uses twice the fossil fuels to charge and drive. Given this groundbreaking roadside analysis, I’ll be returning to an ICE pickup immediately. 🫡

Everyone is going to want a ~$30K Tesla Cybercab when it becomes available. Tesla will sell millions of these: • Magnitude safer than human driving. • Have the ability to legally sleep as it’s driving you. • Operating costs could drop to as low as $0.20 per mile. • Great for elderly individuals who are no longer able to drive, as well as people with disabilities. • Work as are you being driven, or watch movies/play games. • Send off to run errands (pick up kids, pick up someone at the airport, etc). • The ability to add/subtract from the Tesla Robotaxi fleet to earn passive income. • Send to pick up groceries, or other orders. • Have the ability to send home after getting dropped off your location, eliminating the need for parking. • Send for service autonomously when needed. • Virtually Zero Maintenance. This car will revolutionize transportation, and car ownership.

@wholemars Received a free trial of FSD with my new Tesla Y purchase- used it once and will probably never use it again. I just really enjoy driving the car and hate sitting there doing nothing while it drives itself.

FSD is only adopted by a small % of people who buy a Tesla - and that's only 2% of people who buy a car. Clearly this is a combination of the consumer not seeing the value - even at $99/month - and not being aware. Tesla is trying to increase awareness with some ads - but it's not nearly enough - but the rate limiter is that most early adopters have been converted and FSD still needs to get a lot better before it goes mainstream.
Tesla@Tesla

FSD Supervised isn’t limited to select highways or specific conditions – it works wherever it’s available It can handle your daily commute or drive you across the country

Even with $7 gas in California, you will only save $7 per year driving a Tesla $TSLA. Unless you want to drive 20 mins away, after 1 am, to sit in a parking lot and maybe get 35-40 cents kWh. If not, you are paying 48-57 cents kWh during normal times people live their lives. EVs are a total scam for fuel savings. Your savings are reduced maintenance costs, that’s it.

Pakistan has the highest rate of inbreeding in the world, at around 65%. Children of cousin marriages may seem normal at first, but over generations of this, this is often the result. Please don’t marry your cousin.

@Michael_L_Rauch @Tesla I’m much older than you and have driven many cars in my lifetime…I can honestly say that this car is the best car I have ever owned or driven. I’m not concerned how many are currently on the road as long as I love it, that is all that matters to me.

The @Tesla Model Y may be a victim of its own success. The more people I talk to say it’s a grea cart, but don’t want one because there are so many of them & they see it as boring. It’s sadly becoming a generic car to a lot of folks without much passion. 🚙

Ads within ChatGPT will appear at the bottom of the chatbot’s answers, will not influence its responses and will be clearly labeled, according to the January release. Users under the age of 18 will not see ads, and they will not appear near certain topics, including politics, health and mental health, OpenAI said. Roughly 85% of OpenAI’s free and Go users in the U.S. are eligible to see ads, but less than 20% are shown them on a daily basis, the spokesperson said Thursday. The Information was first to report on the revenue figure. Despite the early success of the pilot, some advertisers have been frustrated by its slow and conservative rollout, CNBC reported earlier this month. OpenAI said that the gradual pace of the ads program was intentional. $MSFT

IF OIL HITS $150, MARKETS WILL CRASH History shows that when crude surges to those extremes, it does not arrive alone. In 1973, the oil shock helped drive economic turmoil. In 1979, another spike poured fuel on inflation and recession. In 2008, oil raced toward $150 just before the financial system collapsed. That is why $150 oil is not just an energy story. It is a signal of inflation shock, squeezed consumers, crushed margins, recession fear, and a market that can go from nervous to violent very fast.

A lot of people don't want to pay $99 a month for FSD. So they don't even try it. Drop the price to $49.99 and suddenly it's an easy decision. Add a 6-month plan for $279 or a yearly plan for $499, and now it's a no-brainer. We saw what happened when Tesla offered the Cybertruck for $59K. Demand took off. Same thing would happen with FSD. Lower the price. Get more people in the door. Let the tech sell itself.
