@dallasteslaclub Dude I was so close to hitting the accelerator at red today thinking it was all clear to turn right, but I didn’t notice the person in the crosswalk. So I’m with ya. Let the car do the work! Thanks for sharing man!

Just rolled into a girl at a red light because of a bad habit I have while using fsd. I tend to accelerator tap or hover on FSD as a long time habit from back when FSD needed some input to keep up with the flow of traffic. That bad habit caused me to love tap a girls car today at a red light. Now I’m dealing with a chick telling me I injured her neck and the whole insurance headache when I could have just let fsd do the driving all on its own and this wouldn’t have happened in the first place. Why am I telling you this? Let your car do the driving. We suck at driving. FSD is a better diver than all of us here on X and I wouldn’t be stuck dealing with this Oscar nominated performer telling me I injured her neck over a 2mph love tap at a red light.

@NicksApps Driving isn't that hard, if it is don't get behind the wheel. FSD is a convenience and why only 15% of owners pay for it. To block my navigation so Tesla can get feedback is a terrible UX. It's hostile at best.

This pop up has stopped me from engaging FSD on shorter trips. This is annoying af.

@ChadMoran Sure it could be better, I feel a two second tap on a trip is a very minor inconvenience. Most cars make you turn a steering wheel and use your foot the entire trip lol

If you’re going to be a retard and buy non tesla ev, please don’t charge at the super chargers if your port is located on a retarded spot that takes up two spaces. Most annoying bullshit ever. The three spots that are open near me are unusable cause some libtards don’t wanna buy a tesla because of their politics but they wanna use our shit. God damn. Annoyin af.

A question for all Tesla owners: Full screen visualization or split screen? Full screen gives that immersive, futuristic and clean vibe, but split screen keeps the map handy with more information visible. What’s your go-to setting? Full screen 🖥️ or Split screen 🗺️

@DevinOlsenn @BYDCompany @Tesla I don't care enough about self driving to travel to China. There are plenty of videos already on youtube that show BYD's capabilities. Xpeng and CATL are also doing crazy cool stuff over there.

As much as I love vision-only ADAS systems, compare what you can see on the top to the bottom. Waymo clearly knew there was a vehicle turning, but you cannot see it on the camera.

I just want to take a minute and saw WHAT THE HECK IS ELON THINKING. First off, he says to have more kids. Great, I’m all for that and working on that. Then he says we are all going to trade our personal cars for Robotaxi’s? Ok ok… if you’re single, you may not understand how absolutely historical this notion is. Situation 1: My family of 4 wants to go out to dinner. We have 2 kids in car seats. I haul a Robotaxi. Crap it’s just a 2 seater. Now we hail one bigger (Model Y?). Cool, we can all fit. Now I dimply around the back seat for 30 minutes properly installing 2 car seats. Now we load up the kids, get in the front seats, and we are FINALLY off. Then we get there. So now I need to remove 2 car seats and somehow carry 2 kids AND 2 car seats inside the restaurant. This is boarder line impossible but hey, it’s fine. All in the name of Elon’s mission. And this is actually the easier scenario. And oh yeah, we get to do this all over again just to go home, not to mention if we wanted to make other stops. Each stop you get to do this again and again and again… wow. Scenario 2: We want to visit family 200mi away as we frequently do. Same load up difficulties as before but it’s amplified… by a lot. Now we need a stroller, pack and play, toys, diaper bags, coolers, luggage for all of us, and more! So now the Robotaxi comes and waited for us to load for a good hour. If I’m being honest, that’s a huge underestimate. But that’s besides the point. So we try to cram all of that in a Model Y (FYI - it won’t fit. That’s why we sold our Y for a BUZZ) and we are off. 200 miles of being chauffeured. Suddenly, one of the kids isn’t feeling good and throws up. Shoot, we didn’t bring the proper rags to clean this mess up. Now what? When we use to own a car extra supplies like this just lived in the car! Ugh. Whatever, we use that But the annoyance continues. We get there, unload, and the Robotaxi takes off. We made it. Now we can enjoy family. We usually stay at the grandparents house BUT WAIT, now we want to go over to the aunt and uncles (real scenario). So now there’s 6 of us, crud. We need TWO Robotaxi’s. And now I get to do the fun of scenario 1 all over again. So we visit the aunt and uncles and now I get to do it AGAIN. And now we want to go out to dinner and I get to do it AGAIN. TWICE. You get the point, to say this is incredibly impractical is a drastic understatement. Seriously, WHO THOUGHT THIS THROUGH?!?! And I’m not even going to try to explain how the great American vacation is also ruined by this. Long story short, the amount of people willing to give up their personal vehicles is close to zero.
