No amount of cyberbullying will change the facts: 1. Irregular migration cannot be addressed by vigilantism. Law enforcement must address all matters of criminality, including the abuse of immigration laws. 2. Migration will happen, but it must happen within the confines of the rule of law. 3. Dehumanising people does not address any problem, let alone immigration challenges. 4. Structural economic issues will not be addressed by targeting foreign nationals. 5. The history of South Africa cannot be told without understanding migration, from the Mfecane / Difaqane up to the dictates of colonial settlers.

And this right here is the problem with Xenophobia. It’s rooted in tribal chauvinism to the point where xenophobes can’t tell the difference between a South African and a foreign national. Chrispin is very clearly a South African, but that doesn’t matter to a tribal chauvinist

More than 800 Ghanaians have registered to be evacuated; Senior Government Officials on both sides engaging on South African legal conditions, passenger screening, managing the high numbers and multi-institutional coordination as we work on a new date for the evacuation.

Firstly, thank you for leaning forward and acknowledging the moment. I appreciate that you support non-aligned community initiatives. That's what I always thought until a significant shareholder and son of the founder implied otherwise. However, you are not condemning Mark's attacks on me, including using a misogynistic term (bitch), repeatedly, prior to this moment. Dischem cannot place the two of us on the same footing or treat our statements as equivalents. He initiated the attack with his misogyny and a blatant lie that maligned me personally and professionally. I also note your safe avoidance of mentioning him by name and referencing the significant words that were an activator of my response: I.e that I received money from his mommy and you as an institution. Until you make it clear that this is false, and that a significant shareholder calling me a bitch is unacceptable, then your words below are.....okay, I guess, but lack moral conviction and steadfastness.
