You have to either pay through brokerage (which works out cheaper), or other brokers would charge you interest on capital used - because this is a SEBI rule, till now Zerodha absorbed the costs, other brokers cannot absorb it, and they are going to charge you interest if you exceed your margin requirements greater than 50% for either intraday or both intraday and positional.

Have been a loyal employee of Zerodha generating 1.25 lakh brokerage in the past year. If I add the additional cost of double brokerage, this becomes 2.25 lakhs for next FY. Then add 18% GST, it will become 2.6 lakhs cost to trade. Time to shift from @zerodha is here.

A huge chapter in my life comes to a close today. After 3 years, I’ve decided to move on from Zerodha. This is not easy to write. The last 3 years have changed me, personally and professionally, in ways I genuinely could not have imagined for myself. A very, very large chunk of that credit goes to the kind of support Zerodha gave me. Now, what’s next for me? I’m not fully sure yet. What I do know is that I want to go all in on content. YouTube, Instagram, and whatever else makes sense along the way. I’ve been doing this alongside my job for a while now, and it felt like the right time to give it everything I have. Over time, I hope to build something meaningful in the media or marketing space. I don’t have a big plan yet. If you’ve been following my work so far, thank you. To address the issue of parking at Bus stop which causing annoyance to public & putting their safety at risk. MTP Branch conducted special drive against Bus Stop parking in all 26,462 cases are made out and ₹ 10,51,600 fine has been deposited.
