The Question on #Superconductivity. After more than 500 days of asking the question without any solid reply, I decided to stop asking and actively participate to answer it harder than ever. Major updates will be posted when ever available. Question unanswered for 500+ days.

@HiroNishikawa I’m a student, doing MSc in Thermophysics. I can barely write CFD code that’s worth writing home about. Every time I get on twitter you seem to have solved a new CFD problem or published a new paper. May I get advice on how I can get from here to where you’re efficiently?

Found a bug and also found accidental super-convergence. Truncation error depends on derivatives and so can vanish for a particular solution whose derivatives annihilate it. Exact solution must be chosen carefully to avoid such accidental super-convergence.

The first question I ask an AI is the following: What happens to the temperature of a Type I superconductor when external magnetic field is applied? #Bard vs #ChatGPT @Google vs @OpenAI Bard has a long way to go before it is ready for reliable use. #Superconductivity

@elonmusk @MuskUniversity That is, respectively, not the issue. You “break physical law” by showing that physical theory is merely effective. Why are you not investing in fundamental physics to render current thy effective?? Aharonov-Bohm, Lee-Yang, Superconductivity, Superfluidity, etc are examples.

@engineers_feed It is because of evaporative cooling. A slightly hotter bowl of liquid has a faster rate of evaporation, thus faster cooling. However, one cannot simply expect a bowl of 99 C water to freeze faster than 1 C water. There is a limitation on how much hotter the liquid could be.

Hot water freezes faster than cold water. The Mpemba effect is the name given to the observation that a liquid (typically water) which is initially hot can freeze faster than the same liquid which begins cold, under otherwise similar conditions. * There is disagreement about its theoretical basis and the parameters required to produce the effect.

500000 people went on strike today in the UK. I am one of them. Teachers’ working conditions are so bad that they leave their jobs in droves. Universities make enormous profits while they cut pay 25% and pensions 35% Sacrificing education and research is a recipe for desaster!

@Andercot @martinmbauer The boat water analogy cannot be applied here. The direction of the wave movement point towards the retarded position (negative direction). Sorry, My question is still unanswered!

@NithinGoona @martinmbauer If you look at the time retarded fields for a constant velocity charge at steady state the fields point at the instantaneous position because of interference effects. This is also true for the sun and earth. A simple analogy is to look at the shape of a boats wake

Classical mechanics is at least as 'spooky' as quantum mechanics. Forces act instantaneously, the past and future of everything is determined and can be calculated, action at a distance... Our intuition really fools us.

@SamsungIndia @consumerforum_ there is no information from Samsung after the confirmed return pickup. It has been almost a month. Worst service I ever experienced. I kindly request for immediate assistance on the problem. Thank you.

@HiroNishikawa I just started to code for meshing and came across "Reprint of: Delaunay refinement algorithms for triangular mesh generation" by Jonathan Richard Shewchuk. Is it a good algorithm to start? Do you suggest any other basic algorithm? Thank you in Advance #python
