I don’t say this often, but I feel legitimately more stupid the longer I listened to this Democrat Socialist Los Angeles mayor candidate Rae Huang explains why she plans on firing the current police chief and taking money away from the LAPD You literally have to hear this…. Normally I summarize and analyze what’s going on but for this one I don’t want to spoil it I’ll just give you some crime LA crime facts - Five MS-13 members were convicted in 2025 for a string of six grisly murders committed to advance their status in the gang. Victims were tortured, strangled, shot, stabbed with knives or machetes, beaten with baseball bats, and in some cases, their bodies were thrown off cliffs or hills in the Angeles National Forest and other remote areas - Between late 2025 and early 2026, four homeless people were found dead, including a former NFL player, along the same stretch of road in the Willowbrook neighborhood of South LA. Authorities investigated whether the killings were connected, highlighting extreme vulnerability in homeless encampments - The people being thrown in jail are extremely violent. LA County jails saw alarming death rates. 46 deaths in 2025, nearly one per week and continued high numbers into 2026. Nine in the first two months). This includes homicides - LA County reported extremely high hate crime numbers in recent years - LA County continues to see horrific cases like random murder sprees, targeted gang hits, and home invasions. A Navy sailor was shot six times in a livestreamed attack. Gang-related killings are common But yeah…. Just listen to what this “Democrat socialist” has to say and her plan….

When I visited the shelter to adopt a cat back in February 2016, one of the cats that caught my attention—mostly because he was awake and looking out of his cage at me, with his pleading yellow eyes—was a boy named “Joshua.” He’d been there since the prior November, and no one had requested a meet and greet with him in 3 months’ time. No one! He had several strikes against him: he was a 3-year-old adult black cat who’d been labeled as having FIV (an immunodeficiency virus akin to HIV in humans). He wasn’t sick, but he couldn’t be around other cats—and the shelter warned me that if he got the sniffles, it would need to be addressed right away so it didn’t escalate to something more serious like pneumonia. Well, after I brought Joshua home—and renamed him “Rocky”—I took him to the vet for a checkup. The vet asked me if I wanted to re-test him for FIV, since it might’ve been a false positive. I agreed, and that first test came back negative. The vet then offered to do a western blot test, whose results would be more definitive—but more expensive (over $300). I told her, “Take my money!” The final results came back negative. Poor baby had been mislabeled! I wonder how many people passed by his cage because they were deterred by an FIV+ cat. Here’s the other thing: He’s now 9 years old, but he’s still my little boy, my sweet little baby. He has the tiniest little “mew” and hasn’t gotten his big boy voice yet. I’m not sure he ever will. So I have a kitten for life. As for the black cat thing, Rocky has been nothing but good luck for me.

The reason why I'm voting for @spencerpratt is simple. My two children are teenagers. For their entire lives, I've driven them past homeless encampments in West LA, Skid Row in DTLA, and tent cities in the valley. They've seen homeless people poop on the shoulder of the 405 freeway and people shooting up in front of houses. Like a broken record, I repeat the same story over and over. "It wasn't like this when I was growing up in the 80s and 90s." But for my kids, this is their "normal." If it got this bad from my time to their time, then what is it going to be like when they're my age?

Far-left Hollywood celebrities are mobilizing in full force to ATTACK Spencer Pratt after his rapid surge has put him within striking distance of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass — and he’s genuinely connecting with voters. Rabid Leftist Drew Carey wrote on social media: “Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Prattfall for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their a$$. I understand being angry/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass. F*ck this guy already.” Pratt will be the next Mayor of Los Angeles.

I’m not saying we don’t have problems in LA but idk if people selling tchotchkes on a tourist hub street is one of them? This isn’t a tent city this is people trying to sell bits and bobs along the walk of fame I think that’s just what tourist traps do…
