It is highly disturbing that a multi-billion-dollar tech company can waltz into a town, threaten the local zoning board with lawsuits if they don't comply, acquire huge acreage adjacent to existing neighborhoods, and build massive data centers that emit all sorts of pollution: Noise pollution, light pollution, even harming the water quality and more. The local humans living there are finding they have ZERO political power with the local authorities, and they are being steamrolled by Big Tech that operates through numerous shell companies and shadow organizations to try to hide their origins. This phenomenon is reaching crisis levels across America, and it needs to be stopped. We cannot allow the interests of Big Tech to override fundamental human rights like living in a neighborhood where you can still hear the birds and still see the stars at night.
