🚨🗣️💰 #REGRETS — LIV Golf’s Graeme McDowell says he regrets saying that the reason he went to the league was to “grow the game” and voiced his concern if LIV folds. (Via @SI_Golf / @BobHarig) “I regret a few things I said in the beginning, stuff like growing the game. I should have just said it for what it was: this is good for my bank account, and I’m getting a runway to play the game of golf for as long as I possibly can.” “I don't know where this is going to go. There’s a lot of players out here that if this goes away, they’ve got nowhere to go. Do they deserve that? Is that their own fault…” “There's a lot of people out here that have their jobs tied to this, people who work here. All the negativity on social media the last three weeks ... it just disappoints me on so many levels.”

Habs-Lightning is at 7 p.m. Bruins-Sabres is at 7:30. ESPN has both games. It works fine. So please explain why fans in the Central Time Zone have to wait until 8:52 p.m. (again) tomorrow night when there's just one earlier game? God forbid a kid watch a hockey game.

Jason Robertson wasn't good enough to be on Bill Guerin's team in the Olympics. But he might be good enough to beat Bill Guerin's team in the Stanley Cup playoffs. My story on perhaps the most intriguing matchup of the most intriguing first-round series: nytimes.com/athletic/72062…

Actually, AI/Robotics will mean everyone can have a penthouse if they want. The output of goods & services will be several orders of magnitude higher than today’s economy. Read the Iain Banks Culture books for the best imagining of how it will be. That said, what is the future you want? Amazing abundance seems the best to me.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

The #FargoPD is asking the public to use caution in North Fargo following a black bear sighting in the area between 19th Ave. N. and 40th Ave. N., and from Broadway N. to the Red River. 🐻 For your safety: ▪ Keep children and small pets indoors. ▪ Do not approach the bear if you see it. ▪ Avoid the area if possible. ▪ Fewer people in the area helps reduce stress on the bear and supports a safer outcome for both the community and the animal. We have officers on scene monitoring the bear and are working with North Dakota Game and Fish and the Red River Zoo to bring this to a safe conclusion.

@Holden_Culotta He’s said it was from an archaeological recovery before, but I believe this is the first time he ever mentioned it as being an underwater recovery. Strange why he didn’t mention that previously. Unless he just made it up.

Bob Lazar just told Joe Rogan that the UFO he saw at Area 51 was allegedly an “archaeological recovery” from deep underwater. And he suspects that aliens are not just be extraterrestrial. They’re more likely inter-dimensional. “You could hide an entire civilization in the ocean.” “What’s the deal with the ocean?” “That’s probably the number one question.” Rogan: “There’s a ton of sightings where people see things come out of the water and go into the water.” Lazar: “Yeah, there has to be a reason for that.” Rogan: “If they have the ability to travel through space, if whatever that thing is really does create some sort of a … space-time bubble—” Lazar: “But maybe it’s not space.” “Maybe it’s time, maybe it’s another dimension.” “There’s really no limits.” “If you can start manipulating physics in that way, you can bend time, you can open doorways into other dimensions.” @joerogan

Someone pull the stat on how many great human beings come out of UND, Denver, UMD, Colorado College, Western Michigan and every NCHC school.. Fathers. Leaders. Men who show up every single day and make this world better. Men who care. Men who give effort. Men who win and lose with humility. That’s what these programs produce. Worth more than any trophy.. That’s not a coincidence. That’s what happens when you build a culture of grit, humility, and hard work. 🙌.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷 Iran just dropped its official demands to end the war. Tehran wants: 1. Ironclad guarantees the war never happens again 2. Every single U.S. military base in the Middle East shut down 3. Full compensation paid by the U.S. and Israel for all damage 4. Complete end to all wars across the region, including against pro-Iran groups 5. A brand-new legal regime giving Iran control over the Strait of Hormuz 6. “Hostile media” figures handed over to Iran That’s their price for peace. To that, Trump had already released a "preemptive strike" by saying: "They want to make a deal. I don’t!" I don't see it happening, guys. Source: RN Intel

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 Details coming out about a possible U.S–Iran deal The U.S. is hinting there’s “room to negotiate” on Iran’s frozen money. They’re not calling it reparations… more like just giving back what’s already Iran’s. U.S. wants Hormuz reopened, wants Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile gone, and a long-term deal covering nukes, missiles, and regional proxies. Iran wants guarantees the war won’t start again, and compensation. Let's hope things move fast this week. Source: The Kobeissi Letter

When I was a social worker, two of my clients were exposed to Agent Orange. The process to get approved for VA disability benefits was absurd. The disability claim, military records, test results, medical records, and "scientific proof" that the condition was caused by Agent Orange... Then the test results were not accepted, so they had to do more. This went on for YEARS. How these people are doing it, I have NO idea.

@Simon_Ingari This isn't an adaptability test. It's a culture preview. Clear leaders explain intent. Strong organizations build trust before they demand compliance. If the assessment removes context, it doesn't measure adaptability. It measures obedience.

I just finished an interview this morning, and it was so weird... I’m still trying to process the experience. So I opened the Teams link, but instead of a human, a floating robot avatar popped up. It said, “Hi, I’m Ben. Stand up, step back from your desk, and turn around slowly for a full-body analysis.” Panicked, I stood up... but then I hit NO. The bot ended the call abruptly. I emailed HR to report it. Five minutes later, their reply came in. They didn’t apologize for the robot. They didn’t bother explaining the tech. I froze as I read: “What you experienced wasn’t a glitch. You’ve just been evaluated. That was part of our ‘integrity assessment’ test, which measures whether candidates follow instructions even when the instructions seem unusual or uncomfortable.” My brain stopped. They continued: “Our internal research shows that employees who comply with unconventional requests demonstrate stronger adaptability in high-pressure environments. Refusal is automatically interpreted as low adaptability.” So basically... I failed the interview for not spinning in a circle for a robot like I’m auditioning for a sci-fi talent show. But then came the kicker: “We appreciate your feedback, but to be clear, the request was not about your body. It was designed to test how you respond when a task feels ‘beneath you’ or ‘pointless.’ Many of our top-performing hires completed the scan without question.” They ended with: “If you believe this evaluation method is inappropriate, we invite you to fill out our ethical concerns form, but please note that insisting on traditional interviews may indicate low innovation tolerance.” So to summarize: I didn’t lose the job because of privacy, or safety, or misunderstanding... I lost it because I thought about what I was being asked instead of obeying the robot on command. And now I honestly can’t tell what’s worse: that companies are starting to test whether people will blindly obey, or that enough candidates are going along with it for them to brag about it.

Let me get this straight: @ZohranKMamdani campaigned (ignorantly) on raising NYC's min wage to $30/hour, but is now begging residents to shovel snow for $19/hour?? AND if you want the job you have to bring 2 PICS, 2 FORMS OF ID *AND* YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD? This..from someone who believes requiring ONE form of ID to vote is racist?? You just can’t make this stuff up. 🤦🏽‍♀️
Mark D. Levine@MarkLevineNYC

NYC has put out call for emergency snow shovelers. Will help remove snow/ice citywide from bus stops, crosswalks, fire hydrants etc. Pay starts at $19.14/hr. To sign up, go to any DSNY garage tomorrow 8am-1pm with ID & two small photos. Details and application form: nyc.gov/site/dsny/care…

Team Canada coach Jon Cooper being Canadian after the 3-on-3 OT loss to USA: “You take four players off the ice, now hockey’s not hockey anymore. There’s a reason overtime and shootouts are in play — it’s all TV-driven to end games, so it’s not a long time. There’s a reason why it’s not in the Stanley Cup Final or playoffs.” Your team had Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar for 3-on-3… and still couldn’t win. Why can’t any of them just admit the Americans were the better team? Canada didn’t win because the other team played better. In hockey, the better team WINS. We just dodged the most arrogant, entitled Canadian bragging meltdown in history. Grand karma. 🏒🇺🇸🥇

The next Avengers movie was originally titled Avengers: The Kang Dynasty 🚨 Before the reset happened, a rumored storyline leaked and honestly, it sounded like the MCU going full multiverse insanity. The core idea 👇 The TVA wasn’t just monitoring timelines anymore they were actively recruiting “anchor beings.” These were supposedly the most important individuals across different universes. The belief was that only these anchor beings could stand against Kang and his variants. And the lineup was wild: • Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man • Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man • Tom Holland’s Spider-Man • Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine • Nicolas Cage’s Ghost Rider Basically a live-action multiverse reunion bigger than anything we saw in No Way Home. The main threat wasn’t just one Kang. It was the Council of Kangs multiple variants working together across realities. The Avengers alone weren’t enough anymore. This was a war across timelines. And here’s where it gets crazy. The rumored ending was apparently inspired by Avengers: Infinity War. Just like the heroes lost to Thanos there, the anchor beings were supposed to lose here. Not a close call. Not a cliffhanger win. A complete defeat. After their loss, Kang would allow the multiverse to collapse. From the destruction, he would create his own version of Battleworld a single controlled reality where every universe was stitched together under his rule. Total domination. No branches. No chaos. Just Kang. That would’ve set up the next film as a massive resistance story. Now the big question is whether any of those ideas survive in Avengers: Doomsday or if Marvel completely pivoted. Personally? Kang had insane potential. If built properly across multiple phases, he could’ve been one of the most layered villains the MCU ever had. And we might never see that version play out.

Delaware's ~$500M budget shortfall for FY2026 is mainly attributed to federal tax changes under the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act," which reduced state revenue from corporate taxes, plus inflation and rising costs, per state finance reports and analyses from WHYY, Spotlight Delaware, and others. While 45+ companies have reincorporated elsewhere since 2024 (e.g., Tesla, SpaceX), sources like Law.com indicate this has minimal direct impact on the gap, equating to ~0.0036% per firm.

Delaware Governor Matt Meyer just proposed hiking cigarette taxes by 71% to help close a $500M budget gap. Small business owners say it'll crush sales. But here's the question nobody's asking: Why does Delaware suddenly have a $500M hole to fill? Could it be related to 45+ companies, worth $2+ TRILLION, leaving the state since 2024? Just asking questions...
