The fact that he gives away games on his platform then they immediately see a spike on Steam is proof enough by trying to buy a loyalty he still gets a loud “F*ck you!”
People choose a superior to one that doesn’t have basic features for a launcher, they killed Unreal Tournament, push developers to use a garbage engine that makes all games on it run like shit and spend money on lawsuits instead of trying to build a platform with 1% of the features Steam offers, at this rate any good will he may have will be gone either way Steam wins.

The only reason he supports it is because hes been whoring himself to developers and gamers and people still by a vast majority choose steam over his platform because Tim will do anything other than actually compete with steam in any meaningful way.
The market needs competition and you refuse to provide it, even though your company has the money and capability to do it. It's insane really.

The Ally is absolutely putting the Deck on notice, even if it's only like a $60 difference. That's like 20 games on Steam when on sale, or a down payment on Game Pass these days (😏).
