The next City Council meeting is May 20 (Wednesday).

175-B is not on the City Council's agenda for tomorrow, so I wouldn't expect the Council to try to override Mamdani's veto tomorrow.
It's always possible they could update the agenda at the last minute to add it, but most likely, they don't have the votes for an override yet.

Reynoso is all but saying publicly what has been widely understood but never quite said aloud: Nydia Velázquez wanted Julia Salazar or Tiffany Cabán to succeed her, seeing them as compromise candidates who were part of both her movement and NYC-DSA (the mayor's political home).
