@DavidShafer I'm close to your age and it was an open secret who the members of the Klan were in the TX town I grew up in. In the 60's a few visited my dad in their street clothes to tell him not to take Black patients. The head guy was also a member of the Baptist Church in town.

I am 60 years old and have lived virtually my entire life in the American South. I have never to my knowledge met a single member of the Ku Klux Klan. It is a ghost kept alive by millions of dollars in funding by the Southern Poverty Law Center to keep us divided.
