Welcoming @zenithfdn as a Super Validator on Canton (CIP-0091 | Weight 10). 🎊 Zenith is building the EVM execution layer for @CantonNetwork, letting Ethereum developers deploy Solidity apps on Canton without rewriting everything in Daml, while keeping Canton's privacy, compliance, and atomic settlement properties intact. Two angles: Zenith EVM for developers who want familiar Ethereum tooling on Canton, and Zenith Stack for institutions that want their own customizable EVM environment with full control over permissions, fees, and compliance boundaries. The key technical contribution is atomic composability, a transaction can span both a Canton-native Daml leg and an EVM leg, and either both succeed or the whole thing fails. Settlement is atomic, coordination is Canton, and there are no bridges in between. As an SV, every milestone is tied to real usage on the network. Two worlds have grown in parallel for years. On one side: @ethereum developers built billions in value through Solidity protocols. Lending, DEXs, yield strategies, using tools like Hardhat, Foundry, and MetaMask with monthly smart contract deployments hit 85,000+ in 2025 and over 1.4 million daily executions. On the other: @CantonNetwork has aggregated institutional clients over the last decade, with DTCC Treasuries MVP in H1 2026, Broadridge repo at $9 trillion monthly, and participants like Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas, and JPMorgan. Zenith was created to close that gap without forcing either side to change.

🚨 CANTON GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE JUST LOCKED OVER $2 BILLION USD FROM LIFETIME SV REWARDS 🚨 The Top 13 governing Super validators hold 20,237,235,840.424 $CC or roughly $3 billion USD. CIP-0105 now mandates that 70% of all lifetime rewards are staked. Assuming all of those SVs earned their $CC solely through SV rewards, that would mean staking 14,166,065,088.2968 $CC. For these 13 SVs that's $2,110,743,498.14 USD in $CC locked in perpetuity. There are 37 other SVs, with much smaller amounts, now forced to stake 70% of their lifetime rewards too. $CC is currently at $0.149 price (holding steady around $5.65B market cap on ~38B supply). Super Validators were earning 20% of all emissions. ATM that is a total of ~$299 million annually. This is roughly 1.9 billion fully liquid $CC that would have been distributed across the entire SV cohort, based on equilibrium modeling and scaled reward pools aiming for a ~2.5B issuance-burn balance. Moving forward, 70% of all SV emissions will be locked. In total, that's 14% of all future emissions. Locked. Assuming these numbers are correct, this is nearly half of all previously minted tokens. TLDR: ➜ To keep full Tier 1 weight (100%), SVs have to lock 70% of their aggregate LIFETIME EARNED rewards at activation, that's everything historical and future. If not, they will be slashed with subsequent rewards falling to lower and lower levels. All enforced on-chain, no favoritism. This isn't punitive. It's smart protocol design. It turns early bootstrap windfalls into onchain long-term alignment. No more free-riding on reputation. Influence, contributions, and staying power are tied directly to skin in the game. And who is voting for this? The SVs themselves, because we believe in rising tides. How did @zenithfdn vote? In favor. All for one and one for all. Meanwhile, @CantonNetwork is aggressively burning fees (~$2.33M daily), emissions are usage-linked and halved, and the path points toward deflationary pressure as burns catch up.
