The world will be a safer place without Iran being able to support its terrorist minions- Hamas,Hezbollah and the Houthi’s. And the Persian people will have a bright future with the Ayatollahs no longer brutalizing them. Peace through strength has real meaning under President Trump.

President Trump’s decision to insist on unconditional surrender of the largest state sponsor of terrorism, the Iranian Regime, which has been pursuing nuclear weapons, funding terrorist proxies, building thousands of ballistic missiles with the hope of one day reaching America, and has so much American blood on its hands, is the right and only approach to end this Iranian nightmare. The people of Iran should not be expected to live under the remnants of a weakened terrorist regime that has slaughtered over 32,000 of its own citizens. As in World War II, the evil of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan had to be defeated for the world to ever know peace again. The same is true with the Iranian regime. They must be defeated. I applaud President Trump for his steadfast leadership to achieve this goal. President Trump should offer to reduce the number of ICE officers in MN to fewer than 100. In return, MN’s leaders must promise to turn over illegals in MN jails and prisons to ICE. MN police must arrest violent illegals and turn them over to ICE. If MN won’t do it, they’re showing they’d rather harbor violent people who are here illegally, even if it means mayhem on their streets. If they want ICE to leave, give ICE a good reason to go.

When I Chaired the Western Hemisphere Subcommittee during my time in the U.S. Senate, he was an ardent champion of the Cuban people in their struggle for freedom from the oppression of Fidel Castro. He taught me much and I valued his friendship and counsel. He will be missed. RIP Lincoln.
