@FoodProfessor You don't see it, because there is none. More smoke and mirrors that will do nothing to move Canada forward in any meaningful way.

"The idea of creating a wealth fund for Canada was largely dismissed in the media, mainly because it would allow Ottawa to pick winners and losers in the economy through a Crown corporation—and we know how politically influenced those can become. For the agri-food sector, I don’t see any real upside to this fund."

@rupasubramanya Who are the political elites you are referring to? The @liberal_party? The liberals have done nothing to change this scenario. With a headline like this, I take little you put out as factual.

Big Oil spent years fleeing Canada while political elites treated Canada's energy sector like an embarrassment. Now, as global instability grows, they’re rushing back. Great news for Canada. finance.yahoo.com/sectors/energy…

@VoiceOfFranky The complaint we always hear is that immigrants get funding that implies Canada is being taken advantage of. I don't think that is true, but I don't know how to prove that.

@annwmac @RickPerkinsCPC @annwmac this is the only remark you could muster about his comment? Quite infantile. Billions of tax dollars wasted over the last 11 years, zero accountability. You're either a well healed senior or a dolt, bought and paid for by liberal programs.

@TheophanesRex Thanks for attracting even more racists into my timeline! It’s always a joy to be told to go back to my country by strangers on the internet. Does the same ever happen to you?

“If you stretch your left hand across your face over the right shoulder & across the back of your head, you can touch your left lobe.” Giving permanent residency to temporary workers so they can move up the skills ladder & vacate the low-skilled jobs for 🇨🇦 youth is like that.
Ximena González@XiMeNaKa

If temporary workers already in Canada became permanent residents, they could move up the employment ladder, gain new skills, and seek opportunities in other sectors, freeing up the so-called low-skill jobs “upwardly mobile young Canadians” need to get a foot in the door.

Canada’s largest dairy co-operative will spend nearly $1 billion upgrading plants in Nova Scotia, Quebec and New Brunswick to help strengthen the industry as escalating trade tensions with the United States cast a pall over the sector. saltwire.com/nova-scotia/ha…

@CDSSpotter @TheReclamare I drank the milk, cold and refreshing. I ate home cooked beef, pork chicken, seafood as well as alligator dishes. Quality and taste: perfection. Gas prices? We could be experiencing those same prices here. However, we know where the last 10 yrs has left us.

@NormanEarle @TheReclamare Gas will always be cheaper in the US. But milk? Garbage there. Hormones and junk. Beef, pork, and chicken are generally lower in the US as well, but the quality is often not comparable (especially pork and chicken)

@CDSSpotter @TheReclamare I just returned from Florida. I didn't eat shit food. 95% of the items I purchase were lower in price than Canada. Gas: @ $3.98 a gallon. The other was milk @ $3.98 to $4.25 for 4 liters. Not to mention the 5% tax across the board. 5lb beef rib roast, $61. Here: $140 to $250.

@NormanEarle @TheReclamare A tiny example: A standalone Whopper in Ontario costs roughly $8.00 to $10.00 CAD. In Michigan, after converting USD prices to CAD, it runs about $11.00 to $13.50 CAD Quality groceries are cheaper in Canada. USA regulations are trash. If the food is cheaper there it's junk.

@TheReclamare Stop spreading propaganda you ignorant tool. Groceries are cheaper in Canada now. It used to be the other way around. Not anymore. Not by a long shot. Even fast food is cheaper in Canada now for the first time ever! PROPAGANDA IS NOT COOL.

@UnitedCanucks26 How about focusing on the disaster that's occurring in our own country. We are at the bottom of just about every measurable out there. Yet, TDS 2.0 is on full display.

I’m tired of being told by some Americans that my opinion doesn’t matter because I’m Canadian. Let me make it clear: all Canadian voices matter and we have every right to criticize their insane president. 🇨🇦

A thread Elbowzos won’t read or concede, that provides overwhelming evidence that their poor political choices of the last decade, diminished, Canada, and disappointingly for them, not Trump 🙄
