The NFL was awash in Paton/Vikings talk shortly after the firing of Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. George is a longtime disciple of the GM the Vikings fired in 2022 (Rick Spielman). Going Spielman--Adofo-Mensah--Paton would have been ... something.

They’ve long talked about the team staying in the family for multiple generations, and both Mark and Zygi Wilf’s kids have taken on larger roles with the team in recent years.
