@Cyfrowy_Ja @6ZeroGravity9 Big pet peeve of mine is when robots (or worse, cyborgs), have a gun-limb instead of a hand.
Most of our environment is designed by humans for humans so building robots in a form that mirrors ours makes sense for traversal. Otherwise, it'll be blocked by a keypad, a ladder, etc.

Dass 31 Abschiebungen nach Afghanistan vielen zu wenig erscheinen, ist nachvollziehbar. Die Kritik sollte sich jedoch nicht gegen das Innenministerium richten. Dass Deutschland unter den geltenden rechtlichen und politischen Rahmenbedingungen überhaupt regelmäßig nach Afghanistan abschiebt, ist alles andere als selbstverständlich. Allein die Wiederaufnahme von Abschiebungen ist ein politischer Erfolg mit erheblicher Signalwirkung, diese sollte nicht unterschätzt werden. Dafür gebührt Alexander Dobrindt Anerkennung.

Even if you have a way to diffuse active detection, as soon as you light your drive, you become a roadflare in an otherwise empty room.

Even current fixed wing aircraft battles occur outside visual range, where most of the battle is determined by sensors and stealth. In space combat where velocities are only limited by fuel, engine efficiency and relativity, range of engagement expands.

With no artificial gravity, hitscan beam weapons or energy shields, you have to get in close enough that the opponent has no time to dodge your railguns or intercept your missiles.

Hmmmm is it time to revisit Space Marine II? a game I bought DAY ONE & binned off forever after thinking it was dogshit. I can't abide shitty dodge/parry mechanics you see and the game was woeful in comparison to the original. I have just spent 3 days chewing through Doom 3

Take battletech. From outside it has a way more thought out universe than w40k. Just clan invasion is bigger than any chaos invasion. However it doesnt have the individual stories that make a universe "alive". Sure amaris civil war is awesome but Kharn sells stuff you know.

I don’t like the changes. The archetypes feel like the previous edition of Kill Team. I don’t like the dumbing down combat because of the "muh streamline" approach, and I don’t like armor being baked into the model. Overall, it feels like they’re trying to make seemingly small changes that make previous stuff completely incompatible on purpose.
Next, they’re going to add a competitive mode because they need another way to milk Necromunda players. As someone said, it’s best when GW forgets about your game because they’ll eventually find a way to fuck it up.

It had too much stuff in it to make it cheap enough for complete beginners, but nothing relevant for veterans.
