@oldmanbayin Theres an overemphasis on drawing the characters more than there is making an impact with what drives the narrative. Its like they dont 'understand' whats going on in the scene. Like they know whats happening, but dont get why, how, or when its more important for the story.

Recently I picked up a new side quest: One Piece TCG 🏴‍☠️ I was positively surprised when today I purchased an entire Black Imu deck, that just won Worlds, for only 25€… cheaper than just a playset of Stock Up, an uncommon, which I needed to play in Prowess at the MTG Standard RC

No. There's no reason to use scissors at all but if you do there is absolutely no reason to cut close enough to hit a card

@galzoTCG The pack was designed on purpose to use scissors well in bulk opening.... Even old YGO games has scissors icon on opening packs LMAO

@OddityHero Japanese-language serials don't "deserve" to be opened by Japanese players any more than an English language serial doesn't "deserve" to be opened by an American or a European player. It's all part of the same collector community for the game.

This is so weird to me this "just asking questions" question is going around twitter. Stop and apply this to anything not just Yu-Gi-Oh. Some will enjoy watching something they enjoy shared by others, some will wish it just for them. I've seen many cheer Ruxins pull. Cmon now.

Totally fair concern. The game has been in playtesting for over a year. We have weekly locals in LA and we'll be in local card shops this summer. Happy to send you some product to try out the game! We just had players from MTG, OP, and pokemon attend an Azuki tournament a few months back and everyone had a great time. The team is passionate about building a great game with fantastic art and a strong community 🙏

Anyone studying or keeping apraised of the current rise of TCGs would be interested in the presale model for Azuki. Their top tier sold out almost immediately. Looking at the Kickstarter model for Cyberpunk and Altered (RIP), is interesting to see how it does comparatively.

@Aboynamedpolo Watching a show/movie is different than playing a video game though, to be fair. A lot of shows DO have "early-episode" problems where they need to catch their footing and learn how to write properly for their show. But it's similar.

@YaBoyRoshi I feel the same way when people say you need to watch a couple episodes of an anime/series for it too get good.

Telling people to wait 8 hours for a game to get good/fun is ridiculous. All of the best games Ive ever played get you hooked almost immediately in some way. In Bioshock 8 min in u have the wrench cracking splicers in the head and getting lore of Rapture. In Uncharted 2 you start out in one of the coolest set pieces in a game. Elden Ring 10 min in ur outside getting destroyed by Tree Sentinels. FFX Sin comes and destroys Zanarkand and ur thrown into battle. Sure something crazy happens early into CD but then its……a bunch of random tasks for the sake of introducing all the mechanics that feel incoherent without addressing what happened at the start? Strange, but I get it since its a 100+ hr experience. Just not for me! Like I said previously a lot of people will love Crimson Desert but that doesnt make anyones criticisms less valid! This game is NOT for everyone!

@YaBoyRoshi Yep. Even if a game takes a while to get "good" I can feel how it controls and if I like how it feels right away, people discounting that are lying to themselves. In general a lot of people don't understand how to criticize something themselves so they get mad at any criticism.
