For the record I liked Massie for years. Tucker and others too. But my common sense forces me to be wary of those attempting to sabotage the mandate Trump was given in ‘24. Jumping ship at the very moment real change was possible stinks. Sorry, it just does.

NY mercantile bankers couldn't figure out how to profit off of southern manufacturing was the entire reason for the war.

Hundreds of thousands of Southern men and boys didn't charge into rifle and cannon fire so other men could own slaves. All of my ancestors that fought for the South owned no slaves. They fought because yankees came south.

The Union fought against a principle that was Constitutional at the time. The same as now, the communists force their agenda on the states from DC. Republicans (Whigs) are no different. They just want a little less communistic agenda.

REMINDER: The Union as an idea was antithetical to America's founding, and the South knew. To force another's state to abide by another's state law was ludicrous and the South felt the pain the North was inflicting. As a Republic, we shared our fellow states Sovereignty and respected theirs as ours. The Union, by definition, infringed on this core American idea and became "King George". If I recall, 1/4 Southerns lost citizenship and property, while blacks were given citizenship and property. The South fought for autonomy, while the Union fought for servitude. @MHarrisonW Most of the time you can't even train them. 'Training' involves giving them literal step-by-step instructions that they do not need to act or think on. And if something doesn't work for any reason, the instructions are bad. No matter what the cause was.

Knowledgeable US technicians report that many of the "highly skilled" Indian programmers whose credentials are impeccable actually have to work as on-the-job trainees when they're hired by American companies. Most of them simply can't compete with American technicians.
