correction: I was wrong. No one in the synagogue was killed. With literally hundreds of police cars responding and insane media coverage, I thought at least one Jewish person had fallen victim. But it turns out the hysteria was about Jewish feelings again. Folks in that synagogue were scared. The only people killed were Arabs, a Palestinian man and his entire family. We all know that doesn't count.

Ever since I was a child, the first Palestinian author I remember hearing about was @SusanAbulhawa. Today I read my child a children’s book she recently published. She has been a pillar of Palestinian literature & our community for decades. Any attack on her is attacking us all.
