People think good videos happen fast.
Creators know it’s usually fixing tiny details, nobody notices timing, pacing, smooth transitions, and small adjustments over and over again.
What detail instantly makes a video feel premium to you?

@hlibtrazanov you are a inspiration for me, soon I will achieve my goals. and will focus on one thing 🙂

70% of my entrepreneurial career
(5 out of 7 years)
I was selling the worst product in the world.
It’s called “everything to everyone”.
No, really:
- explainer videos
- video editing (montage)
- 3D videos for pharma
- websites!!
- presentation design
Yeah, we had the capabilities.
But does it mean we HAD TO do it all?
Absolutely fking not.
No wonder why we were struggling:
a) there was no clear positioning
↳ it’s impossible for potential clients to build a strong association with me and one thing. They couldn’t even refer me to a friend with words “oh, I have a video guy, he’s the best in XYZ”. Because who exactly I was? A video guy? A website guy? A design guy?
b) not enough reps of one thing
↳ quality is average. “OK” is not enough today -> Harder to sell.
↳ Not enough cases -> Bigger risks for the client -> Harder to sell.
c) not efficient enough
↳ can’t train the team for one thing, or build repeatable processes or optimize the production.
↳ Projects take more time, everything is super “custom”, expensive, need to figure out from 0 every time.
And overall there was no “special sauce” that people would come to us for.
Really, nothing special. Just a commodity on the market.
It felt like I was pushing the rock uphills.
(For 5 f-ing years)
So, I decided to change it all:
- Closed my website agency
- Left my 3D partner
- Closed my Skool community
And went all in on SaaS product videos.
(because we had some SaaS clients before, they were my favorite clients + I saw how the niche was growing + I liked how it looked visually + it was easier in production)
“All in” means saying no to EVERYTHING else, even other videos for different niches.
Sometimes I broke my promises, and I always regretted it later.
But overall, niching super narrow down saved us.
- We’ve done 150+ videos in one domain
- 400+ LinkedIn posts about JUST ONE THING
- Created playbooks, breakdowns, libraries
- Training a team of killers
Now Astra Motion is one of the most recognizable video agencies in the SaaS space.
And this became a huge risk reduction for our clients.
Because there’s less things that can go wrong if they choose us.
Selling is so much easier now.
And I can finally focus on other things (hiring, training, making content, building future vision for our team).
