Mario Kart World is already a very different (and better) game from when it launched. The free updates have mostly all hit the mark. I think that was important before Nintendo rolls out new characters/stages, which I think is going to happen, it just won't be free.

An ubi open world has the map marked and littered with random meaningless collectibles, tons of different systems to do and you explore to collect. Botw is post apocalyptic, its open but you explore to explore, not to cross off a list
