US is the major driver of the global revenue. The UK revenue in 2025 were PwC £6.35bn ($8.66bn) Deloitte £5.68bn ($7.74bn) EY £3.78bn ($5.15bn) KPMG £3.6bn ($4.91bn) There’s less corporate transparency in Nigeria so they don’t publish their earnings 😂
Sir J (J9)@SirJarus

Meanwhile, I'm curious to know how much Big 4 Nigeria contribute to these global revenues. Each of them is present in at least 140 countries. I doubt any Big 4 in Nigeria makes $50m (N70b) revenue annually. Big 4 in some countries probably make that from a single client.

The UK model is the reason it is sustainable. Government doesn't need to find new money to loan other students. Repayments by graduates fund the loans to current students. Can't say the same for NELFUND. And people who don't want to take the UK student loan have other viable options.

I actually wish the UK students loan is exactly like NELFUND. It would have made life a lot easier for more people. The interest rate on the UK student loan is a lot , a whole lot and I know we try to avoid talking about it

This game will be a true test of Arsenal's champion mentality. If you cannot stop your direct rival for an important trophy you have not won in 20 years from getting 3 decisive points that could boost their chance against you, you do not deserve the trophy. The ground doesn't matter. Anything worse than a draw will be unfortunate.

First draft of my Awo-anchored speech is ready. 😉
Nojeem ‘Nudge’ Yusuf@NudgeTM

@OneSodiqAlabii @lumbyte I’ll be making a speech in the next few months, where I have the liberty to choose what to talk about, and I’m seriously considering speaking about Awo. To an audience who know almost nothing about ‘founding fathers’ in Africa, apart from maybe Mandela.

@tobyasky I remember Mustapha Hadji won African Player of the Year while he was playing for Coventry. It doesn’t feel so long ago.

You eat a burger and pizza with your hands and then ask why Africans eat swallow with their hands. That is one question that should never have existed.

At my first interview at KPMG, the interviewer asked why I wanted to do tax. I responded by saying: “I am eager to assist taxpayers in contributing their fair share, thereby increasing government revenue and aiding in Nigeria's development. My love for Nigeria drives me to want to see it prosper, and that's my motivation for choosing tax” Upon joining, the manager who interviewed me - now a partner - said: “I didn’t believe your response but I appreciate the cleverness, and that’s part of why you’re here”

That many middle class people enroll their kids into private schools, because public school education isn’t great, suggests two things: - We can raise the money from people to fund quality public education so we all don’t have to individually worry about school fees. - The competence to deliver quality education exists among us. Quality public education is essentially private education with the benefit of economies of scale. But it looks like we have a fundamental ‘incentive’ problem. When people don’t have personal interest in a venture, they tend not to give their best. It partly explains why private schools and other private ventures outshine their government-owned counterparts.

DEMO OF LONDON
DEMO OF LONDON@Ademola_Odumesi·
Few years ago, there was a governorship aspirant in ogun state. His name is Ademola (can't remember his other names right now). Good height, well built and bodied the leadership charisma quite well. I think he came back from America to contest. He was younger at the time(compared to Gbenga Daniel and Amosun). He is eloquent, well educated and well travelled, energetic, full of ideas to turn the state around.... And He is funny too. I watched him speaking on the TV few times during the election season that year. He did everything necessary for normal political campaigns, he was everywhere, speaks well whenever he was engaged by the people and media houses. I think he did very well that year during the election season. Unfortunately, he came far 3rd when the election results were announced. I wonder where he could be right now. Probably, gone back to his base in the States. This is the kind of person who we should be having in governance, if we are ready and really serious as a group of people. But, Nigeria is Nigeria, as always. I hope we get it right soon.... Or at some point. It is well
