@globalkennyp Ante. Ante. Ante. Ante. The pot NEEDS dead money in it. Not a straddle which usually tightens players up. Dead money in the pot is good for poker.

In a 9 Handed Ring Game At The Casino… Its a gentlemens agreement that UTG is actually the LJ & UTG +1 is the HJ. Every position after until the button is the cutoff. It should be common sense but with the nittiness on display lately, I thought I’d clarify for those unaware.

@TheJeffBoski @AcrPokerLatam @ACRPokerBR As always I start by saying I've played less than 20 tournaments in my entire life. Isn't there consideration to be had that the shorter stack jammer just never has worse than TT here? So we're flipping with them 2 behind assuming none of our outs are dead which seams unlikely.

@dbrinker001 I don't really know anything about short stack play or tournaments but I think we'd prefer the be the one jamming with this hand and not calling. Original raiser uncapped, the AI player has wide vpip but I imagine this is from calling not raising. Fold and pray I think.

@TheJeffBoski @ACR_POKER Criminally under bluffed. Overvaluing worse? Absolutely not. Our value hand has magically become a bluff catcher. Trips is the same as a Q here. We are allowed to be bluffed.

An HVAC technician told me “Knowledge is power, that’s why I charge this much to diagnose the problem and fix it. “You’re paying me a very high premium because of the knowledge I posses” his diagnostic price was $200. That’s besides the service call of $100 plus the actual cost to repair the AC, say $400 to install a capacitor. Then it got me thinking 🤔 Say you don’t have health insurance You make an appointment to go to a Dr an MD because you feel ill and and you pay $90 for a consultation and then they give you a diagnosis and they they prescribe you medicine that cost $30 on the pharmacy without prescription insurance. Dr is making $90 while the technician is making $200 for a diagnosis Something is wrong with the HVAC industry, lots of private capital is coming in and taking advantage of the situation, capitalism 100%. “You’re paying for the knowledge” I keep hearing this in the hvac industry. Please… HVAC owners make more than Drs. Very interesting observation

@Build_Like_Bob @SpiritAirlines I have decided at 40 years old that if I want flying to be anywhere even approaching a pleasurable experience that choosing to fly is no different than any other luxury in life. I don't sleep in roadside roach motels and I don't fly budget. I'm happier...poorer, but happier.

@lowstakesdre I don't like the limp pre. In order for us to want to make such a deviation we should be able to say something like... Villain raises here near always with a very wide range. Though you may have found an interesting exploit on flop..

My heart was pounding. Absolutely pounding. And the spot was so routine. Folds to me, I limp 77 in the small blind, big blind is super capable. I’m hoping he raises so I can 3bet. He checks. Pot: 3BB Flop: K-7-8 rainbow I lead flop for 2 BB, he tanks and cuts out raising chips, the raise is to 6BB, I just call. Pot: 15BB Turn: J Completes T-9 but otherwise I’m nutted here. I check in flow, he checks back. I 100% have the best hand. River: 3 I lead river for 5BB, he tanks for what seems like an eternity, he is staring me down, I fold my arms across my chest and I can feel my heart absolutely pounding. He leans in to check my neck, okay Alex Foxen, chill man, this is a nightly at Derby, not the feature table at the Main Event. lol We aren’t in the money. We aren’t even close. Based on the action I am nutted here, he never has KK, JJ, best he could have is two pair which I have crushed. No chance he checks back T-9 on the turn. I’m praying he raises, he finally folds. Why does my adrenaline spike in these spots sometimes?

pro tip for online poker players. really for anyone who works from home. one of the best things i did for my game and mental health was start treating my day like i had a real job. wake up, shower, shave, get dressed. look like someone who has somewhere to be, even if you don't. i even rented office space to play online poker. showed up like a 9 to 5. admittedly some nights i ended up sleeping there. but that comes with the territory.

@BradGalli @StubHub I thought I was secure in saying @StubHub is a bad company doing nothing for their actual consumer, the people who buy tickets and get scammed. Do not use them for anything, pretend they don't exist. Move forward in a world where we must scalp tickets the old fashioned way.

Nightmare experience with @StubHub from the men’s national championship that keeps getting worse. We bought the tickets for the national semifinals and national championship in one purchase. Stubhub sent us the tickets for the semis, but never sent the championship tickets. They refuse to pay us back. It’s been ugly. The @LucasOilStadium box office team confirmed before the game the tickets were never associated with our email address, and encouraged us to ask @TeamStubHub for help or a refund. The stadium staff said it would be quickly taken care of. I have spent hours on the phone, and longer chatting online. No resolution. They keep moving the field goal posts including claims that we should have reached out sooner (we did), and then ask me to drop my Amex case against them. We never got the championship game tickets. My wife and kids stood outside most of the first half and we had to buy other tickets. @TeamStubhub didn’t help that day, that night, or in the days since. Anybody know how to get real help from them?
Brad Galli@BradGalli

@russ_head @ClubWPTGold What makes WPT so soft also makes it feel infuriating. The bulk of the small stakes players may not be able to spell Poker so they are ALWAYS in there with random shit. We see more flops, we see more beats.

@alexduvallin I'm a small nobody, there's no reason to 'allow' me to repost or use clips from PokerGo, sure, I guess they're right. Here's the thing, a large non poker creator catches the poker bug, reposts a video with commentary and they could be blasted? It doesn't make sense.

This is a very interesting subject and I think overall, brands like PokerGo are missing the mark. Like the world’s biggest creator sees it, distribution >>> control. While I see the point about the shills and the recent overuse of clips, it’s also clearly a great opportunity. Instead of going on the attack, why not just ask them to include a PokerGo link to a free trial? Win win. 🤝
🦬 Hanks@BuffaloHanks

1.) @PokerGO has become very chill with content, especially with friends of the brand(s). Which includes- -players in our events -sponsors obviously -larger brands who far exceed our reach -other 2.) Majority of folks take the professional approach and reach out, and we work out a fair content agreement. 3.) Others do nothing. Cockroaches. They rip content for their own personal gain and shill promo codes for another entity, while also claiming they are trying to “grow the game.” 4.) I would encourage all major operators who pay millions of dollars to produce their owned and operated content to jump on board and come after these content cockroaches. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk.

@RobKuhn_ I just don't understand where the line is I guess. So is it that you also promote ACR and they don't want their content associated with that or that they just don't want it shared at all? More voices sharing poker just can't be bad.

This is the state of poker by the way People will write infinite post on how to grow poker, what we need to do to bring people into the game etc Then be upset when clips get views....on poker The amount of people who have reached out or commented on those post saying it has sparked their interest in poker again has been wild to see Do we not want to get views on poker? Make it make sense

I dont see that as an option on my computer at all Why would I care about tagging pokergo like that if I had the option Also there's a big fucking water mark on the top right of the screen showing POKERGO, I thinkkkkk people will get the hint where the content is coming from Regardless pokergo clips have been deleted as I don't want you to "escalate this to legal" further For a CEO you sure are a very unprofessional Fucking gate keepers man
🦬 Hanks@BuffaloHanks

Rob is also smart enough to know that THIS is a proper way to post content that he doesn’t own. Notice the content is clearly “From PokerGO.” Actually wait, Rob definitely isn’t smart enough to know this. Fucking civilians these days man 🤦‍♂️

@BuffaloHanks PokerGO has a business model that is absolutely incomprehensible. Only people deep into poker have a fucking clue what it is, their videos are water marked but don't dare share it, wouldn't want the casual public even considering subscribing. Please go broke already.

@RobKuhn_ @ACR_POKER Definitely wouldn't but I can't touch these stakes and this level of play. The jam with Qx must be a bluff but it feels like the targets are beyond narrow....As I write, this seems feels more and more like a genuine punt which even the best players in the world do sometimes.

@Carroters1 Depends on sizing of flop and turn bets and of course the pool. I can recall for a time on Global 200nl so many regs range on rivers was just too strong. Did this mean I didn't bluff? Of course not, but only for small sizes to fold out draws that beat my air. TP not targeted.

'Well he called flop and turn so his range is strong now so we can't bluff river' Either this faulty reasoning or there are no good triple barrels in poker. Which is it?

Playing 20¢/50¢/$1. Flop the stones. I barrel, on the river I almost checked back when the board paired. Then I thought, good players go for value here, don’t be scared. The real problem was the stack to pot ratio was very low so when I bet if villain jams I have to call. And that’s exactly what happened. A few hands later I pick up AKs and a player with 40% VPIP and 22% PFR 3bets me, so I four bet and he jams and I snap and he has AA. -$200 so far. 🫠
