@Shellie_Jean I think to for staff and patient safety that wearing staff nurse blue we’d be mistaken for ward staff. Also what colour would CRPs wear as it’s a different role to HCA/CSW.

@NursesResearch_ I feel conflicted here- because I think that nurses who work in research ARE specialised and therefore are specialist nurses, but not all of my team are nurses, she what would my colleagues wear? I’d certainly not want a multi level approach to a team - all for one

@Rachel_Luby @nutritionlizA @alisonleary1 Will there be any provision for research staff too? I currently wear red, but have worn staff nurse blue in previous research nurse role. I felt it was unsafe for staff & patients as we were mistaken for ward staff & asked to check meds, IVs etc.

A systematic review of research on workplace breaks shows that: 1) Regular micro breaks can be better than longer breaks 2) Outdoor breaks & fresh air are better than indoor breaks 3) Scrolling social media is the most common break type but it creates emotional exhaustion 4) Spending a break with a furry companion is beneficial hbr.org/2023/05/how-to… Via @ZhannaLyubykh Graphic @DariusForoux
