@mer_yilmz Hey thanks! I use DearVR Pro. By season 5 every sound on the show, except for the intro crawl and music transitions, went through that plug-in. It has a couple good car presets.

@OConnellism mission to zyxx was very good in terms of story but especially in sound design. It inspired me in a lot of ways as a student thanks for paying so much attention to detail! I've quick questions, which binaural plugin you've used? And any tips/methods for car reverbs?

@AGoldmund Not cheap, but most Antelope Audio interfaces make this kind of routing very easy via the control panel software. The Orion Studio might be worth checking out when you retire the Focusrite. The reamp outputs are especially fun for using guitar pedals as inserts inside your DAW.

@Alex90372885 @MissionToZyxx Sadly, no. My original idea was to make a full length version in the style of an early aughts nü metal band, but I ran out of time.

Last year I got really into sound design thanks to @MissionToZyxx and the amazing work of @OConnellism . The first 10 minutes of S4E1 still blow my mind every time I listen to them (which is pretty often). I think this is the closest I’ve gotten to making something that good.

@L_cky13 Thank you! I’ll miss doing the servos. The first thing I would do at the start of a new episode is what I called the servo pass. I placed each one by hand, trying to use their musicality to reinforce @JeremyMBent’s performance. It was a great way to absorb the edit and get ideas.

@OConnellism The show wouldn’t have been the same without you. Several of my favorite jokes in the series involve a long silence then a servo motor whirring.
