GM. I recently had a family friend ask me why I bought another wedding ring for shooting and didn’t just go without it during that time. I thought he was joking at first but he was dead serious. I responded with: “My wife is my world. This is a reminder she is with me wherever I am. I feel naked and almost disgusted if I don’t have a ring on my finger. I made a commitment to my wife, and that includes the promise of my marriage vows in physical form.” I know some people don’t put much value on the ring itself. I’m not one of those people. On my scroll of grievances today is @RMADefense. I recently placed an order with them because I decided to try out some of their plates, see if they are worth the hype or if their wholesomeness is all just a huge conspiracy. Sure, big plate makes them seem like nice, polite, corn fed Iowa boys out here just stacking up high quality armor, making their own in house product, and keeping themselves out of drama but I have some late breaking news! They are in fact, well, just exactly that. What we have here is your classic Winona Ryder, steak too juicy, lobster too buttery situation. I have nothing bad to say about them. They're responsive, they do what they say, and their product is exactly what I was expecting. I peppered them with a lot of stupid questions about their various offerings and they were patient enough to sit there and answer me even when I probably asked the same thing 5 different ways. They're the equivalent of big cannons stay winning Winona who want too much sex, and the rest of big plate is Jamiraqui or however you spell his ridiculous name just out there sucking. TL, DR; Phenomenal Plates, buy them. I got both the "male" or unisex whatever "normal" version of their gen 2 level 4 plate, labeled King of Armor there and I also got their girl cut level 4 boobie curved plate, labeled Queen of Armor. Lastly, I got their Queen Plate Carrier to go with the plates since they are a non standard cut. First impressions are that the plates are well made and are both lighter and yet sturdier than my older plates. I really like the curve in the female plate, I have test fit it in the Queen Plate Carrier and I like it. The standard shooter cut plates fit in the QPC as well so if you are a girl reading this, you don't have to get the curvier Queen cut plate if you just want the smaller carrier. With that being said they told me it was fit for more of a B/C cup, and I'm a DD cup, so I wasn't sure how it would shake out. I'm quite skinny, other than my boobs, and I find that the Queen cut hugs me really well. First impressions was that it will be a lot more comfortable than a standard plate. The curve distributes the weight across my chest better which lets the shoulder straps do more of the work to balance things out better all around without having any pressure induced hotspots. Part of the issue with having boobs, which only some of you boys like Shr00msy will understand, is that when I wear plates they sit too far out from my stomach, so I end up having a gap between the lower half of my plate and my stomach which puts more pressure on the top of my chest as it acts like a cantilever. This can lead to some uncomfortable weight on my chest because that disruption doesn't allow the weight to balanced or be distributed by the shoulder straps, and even with a battle belt it can be hard to balance it all. I'm sure that doesn't apply to most of you, but it really is a good feature and I'm glad to have added the QPC to my lineup, it adds a lighter weight plate carrier option for me than the full on Crye CAGE that is a lot more comfortable getting in and out of vehicles and in and out of kneeling or prone, which makes it easier to wear and use all day. Next up, I put their Gen 2 Level 4 standard shooters cut plates into my Crye CAGE Armor and they seem to fit both the CAGE and JPC quite well. They're lighter weight than any of the other shooters cut plates I've ever had and they have a close enough profile/cut that I don't really notice any difference other than dropping almost 9 pounds compared to my plates I'm replacing. If you're doing the math at home, that's a over gallon of water + more food or 9-10 more magazines of 5.56 I could carry by replacing that weight. That is HUGE. I didn't have light weight plates before, but even had I replaced standard lightweight plates with the RMA Gen 2 plates I still would have saved 4-5 pounds overall. Very, very impressive. I apologize again to all in the @SCALPCOM world. I was doing a live stream on YouTube for the last few hours and was not trying to do anything to offend or take away from the nation. I still fully support and hope to earn the respect of the nation in time. I was not trying to take away from anyone or violate any trust or respect. I truly thought I was helping to spread the scalper nation and brotherhood by my actions but have heard from @srsattern and have deleted the original posts. Trying to clean up my timeline now. Trying to do right and show no foul intent was meant.
