@CatholicPebble Men and women should always practice modesty in dress and behavior, regardless of where they are and who can see them.

Is it sinful for a woman to enter a church in a revealing bathing suit, even if the church is completely empty? I think the answer is an obvious yes. This proves that the problem of immodesty isn't merely solved by men averting their eyes. They should definitely do it to the degree they can but women should also always be modest irrespective of male self-control (or lack thereof in some cases).

@crunchycozygirl @rei_goldenharl You CANNOT confess any sins before baptism. I asked a good priest.

@rei_goldenharl That’s true, although I was just baptized so I think I only have to confess sins since baptism?

I would love to find a priest I feel comfortable talking to for my first confession. All the priests in my local area are from overseas and I don’t feel comfortable talking to them about my personal life or really deep stuff. Does anyone have any advice?

@BringBackTradIG I asked this once and I’ll ask again, Do we or do we not put our private judgment over the Church’s when we admit they hold authority? I still haven’t found a good answer. I’m hoping i do bc i don’t wanna jump ship

@jcher78 In traditional Catholic Holy Communion, you receive Our Lord, body, blood, soul, and divinity. You can't have a closer relationship.

You know what bothers me.. I know “about” Jesus but I don’t “know” him. How can I know him? How do I get to truly have a relationship with him? What defines a true relationship? This is what is running through my mind as I sit here drinking my coffee, trying to have a good day

Things like this are a little hard to navigate as a new Catholic. She was made a saint and I think saint declarations are infallible. So I find it hard to believe the Divine Mercy could be false in light of that…

There's a schismatic trad parish in my town Apparently, the priest interviews you before he lets you receive communion I would never do it but...I think I could pass the test

My friend and spiritual mentor Fr. Paul Mankowski, SJ, told me, not long before he died, that he was hanging on by his fingernails not to become a sedevacantist. That is where I am right now.

As a conservative Catholic, I'm starting to feel like the Church wants nothing to do with me.

All my Catholic friends despise the current church leadership, the disconnect between the pope/cardinal leadership and the base has never been wider than it is today. They are Catholics despite the leadership, not because of.

What does a good catholic do when they realize the pope is not catholic?

How can a Catholic Catholic if they disagree with literally everything the Pope says? I mean this sincerely. How do we reconcile this? I would not belong to a Protestant church promoting or professing these radical beliefs? What do we as Catholics do? Sincere question.
