Awoke to news this morning of the passing of Senator Graham. We are praying for his family during this devastating time. Though we did not always agree, he was always respectful. I wouldn't phrase it as killing "criminals," rather it's specific criminals who commit atrocities that deserve death. Either that, or solitary confinement. But making them do labor thereby letting them out of solitary is not a good idea IMO. There are cases for example how these murderers will start killing inmates. Someone who is this dangerous, is beyond deterrents. There's also the issue that, sympathy for these "subhuman" individuals, gets other people killed. You gave them opportunity, or allowed the possibility for, them to murder or rape again. Which becomes a stain on your soul. It's human to feel the weight and the cost of taking a human life, but it should not prevent you from doing so when your inaction could or will cost the lives of others. This is what they call "suicidal empathy."

That’s one argument and a fair one. My argument is that, while it suffices the end of a person that is so mentally ill that we don’t need to worry about him/her anymore… it doesn’t address the need for a penalty that deters the crime in the first place. If these people are so mentally ill that they’re willing to commit murder, putting them to death for the crime doesn’t matter to them. Meaning, they’re not deterred. Meaning, the death penalty itself doesn’t deter the worst crimes. Humans are really only deterred by isolation. So, my proposal is to isolate them and force them into slavery, whereby, they build things society needs, at no cost, thereby creating a pure profit that is used to cover the expense of incarcerating them. Killing criminals makes us as inhumane as they have become…

BTW, you guys know their eyes are not black, it's just a black film over their eyes. I knew this for a long time it's kind of common sense. We do many things that create disorder and disharmony to life on Earth, by polluting it, even engineering viruses and diseases. There are definitely people who are irredeemable that deserve the death penalty. I think the 3 strikes rule is more than fair, after which they should get life in prison without parole, or death. Death penalty is also necessary in the sense that the person is considered a permanent and extreme danger to society. Life in prison would be like constantly watching over a nuclear bomb, rather than simply "neutralizing" it and removing the threat.

Not if you’re a Christian… In law school we debated the Death Penalty constantly… my argument was always… “the death penalty is giving the criminal an easy way out… they should, instead, be forced to do hard labor for the rest of their life, producing something of great need in society, while forcing them once a day to be subjected to readings about the person they committed the crime against…. Because they’re producing a product they’re covering the expense of imprisonment, so we don’t have to cover it with tax money… let’s face it… criminals aren’t afraid to die… so, threatening them with death is not really a deterrent… however, isolation, hard labor, forced information about their crime over and over for the rest of their miserable life is indeed a deterrent…” Passing death penalty laws only serves to the benefit of politicians who want to appear tough on crime… but it doesn’t work… If it worked, there would be zero first degree murders… but they continue…

Blurry black and white images isn't disclosure. Even touching or seeing it in person isn't the real disclosure. Because other dimensions are not just some new spatial or mathematical dimension, they are higher dimensions/realms of consciousness. The higher the dimension, the more complex the consciousness, the more readily it is felt and exists. This is why higher dimensions feel more real, such as what people describe as "Heaven," because the aliveness of consciousness is more present.

The problem with the "phenomenon" is that it has everything to do with consciousness, rather than simply our senses (namely we can see or touch). For example, I doubt abductees were filled with abject terror just because "aliens" have strange appearance, with big head and eyes. No, it was something else about them, something otherworldly about their presence, the way the eyes pierce through them, the unsettling feeling they get, etc. It's the same with "ghosts" or witnessing "demonic possession." We're being exposed to another element or layer to reality which can't be interpreted and pigeonholed into some comfortable idea or belief. We can only experience the raw essence of that reality with no filter, no time or opportunity to interpret and make sense of it. You just "feel" it immediately. And this is very disturbing to most people because they're egocentric, and thus always needing to feel in control. To quote Q from Star Trek:TNG, "...this is the exploration that awaits you.
