Important to ask your NAFLD/NASH patients on their definition of using the stairs. After promises that they have been using stairs for months, and on further probing: he has been using stairs to go down and taking the elevators up. #learntmylesson #EidMubarak

A prolonged endoscopic necrosectomy. Other than snare/net/basket and lavaging, are there other methods to safely evacuate the cyst? #GITwitter

Me: Who is the president? Patient (previously in withdrawal): I dont know. Unsure if that qualifies as disorientation or are they more than fully aware of the current national situation. #skipthequestion #lessonlearnt

This is my favorite type of ESD! Complex Barretts C7M8 with ++ previous Tx (EMR/RFA) that was definitively resected with a circumferential ESD. Path demonstrated multifocal LGD & HGD with buried Barretts centrally. Pt was dc'd home 24 hrs post procedure. videogie.org/article/S2468-…

@EndoscopyOthman @GIE_Journal We were certainly not expecting such a major difference on the repeat exam. PPI down-titration though remains a clinical challenge. Should it be a part of semi-annual or annual "health-maintainance checklist" visit to the GI office? What do you think?

It is a common knowledge that PPI can induce fundic gland polyps (FGP) formation, but can FGP disappear after discontinuation of PPI? In this July issue of FP @GIE_Journal , Marian Mavillia et al reported a case in which FGP completely disappeared 8 months after stopping PPI. 1/2

Had a PC-SEMS which was lost to followup and came with obstruction. Mangled stent on trying forcep/balloon to remove. Left another FC-SEMS within old stent to come back in a few months. Any other ideas that we could have tried?
