Why is VS Code’s Markdown preview still so bad in the age of Markdown? Slow. Janky. Weird rendering quirks. Not even a copy button on code blocks. Is there actually a better alternative that integrates seamlessly?

"Best backup buddy" ironic coming from a company whose warranty department has zero backup units in stock. 8 weeks, 0 replacements available, no restock date, just an endless loop of "we sincerely apologize".. The only thing with a 0.01s response time at DJI is the copy-paste apology macro. I strongly recommend against buying any DJI products.

8+ weeks trying to get warranty service on a faulty DJI Power 2000. Unit is out of stock indefinitely, DJI won't ship replacement battery, no refund has been authorised, and support replies are apologies without action. Meanwhile my solar add-ons are stranded, useless without a DJI unit, and not interoperable with anything else. Competing brands integrate inverter/solar functionality into the unit so a single failure doesn't brick your whole setup. DJI's modular approach looks like flexibility on the box, but in practice it's vendor lock-in. Great hardware, broken post-sale experience.

Codex Desktop is everything ChatGPT was missing. The plugin ecosystem is massive. You can work in a folder/project. Background agents, memory, automations, in-app browser. Available on the free tier. If it's not beating Claude's Cowork now (which isn't even available for free), it will soon.
