The UK government must drop any objections to the International Criminal Court seeking arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and defence minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes in Gaza, Palestine. I urge all parliamentarians to support the ICC’s request.

Only the US & UK hadn’t restored UNRWA funding. I’m glad this is now being rectified. But we can’t send aid to help people in Gaza & at the same time, sell arms to Israel that are killing innocent civilians. We need to uphold international law & suspend arms sales to Israel.

The FBU is aware that pro-Palestine protesters are holding further demonstrations in Leicester. Previously, firefighters have been asked to assist the police in removing protestors. The FBU advises all members not to be involved in law enforcement activities.

Mass graves have been discovered at Gaza hospital sites vacated by the IDF. Some bodies had their hands bound. The government withdrew funding from UNRWA on the basis of unconfirmed allegations. They continue to sell arms to Israel despite the continued atrocities in Palestine.

Where is the outrage now that mass graves have been found in Gaza? Why don’t we know more about the bodies found with hands tied & clothing stripped? Where is the wall-to-wall coverage of this? Where is the international condemnation?

These are ongoing war crimes that are being committed. This has nothing to do with 'Israel's right to defend itself'. It is collective punishment, starvation as a weapon of war. But our leading politicians refuse to call out their ally. theguardian.com/world/2024/apr…
