@OakrootForge Yes; I've wanted to get into coppicing for a while. It's on my list of homesteading avenues I'll be going down once I can free up some work time. I've done a bit of wattle-work with saplings before, and I'd love to make that a more regular part of the outdoor infrastructure.

I used to be scared of bees. Then one time I helped my neighbor move his hives. We kitted up in the suits, but somehow a bee got up the cuff of my pants. I felt it wiggling around in there, and didn't panic. I calmly walked away from the mass of bees, gently pulled the pants up and shook the bee free. She zipped back off to her hive, and ever since then I have looked at bees as frens. Some kind of minor spiritual experience I guess.

Saxons have a greater claim for carrying a blade for cultural reasons than any Sikh. Our tribal name literally translates to "sons of the blade", and yet we have been stripped of our birthright to carry one in our own ancestral homeland. Our ancestors are rolling in their graves that their descendants have been turned into slaves (for in their/our culture, being unarmed is a sign of enslavement). Reviving this ancient rite must be one of the outcomes of our tribal awakening, to honour our ancestors. More blades on British streets, not less!

I like Benchmade, but I will say they ship their autos that have switch locks in a very rough state. They do not take the time to smooth the edges of the parts, so they do not function smoothly at all. I have 3 autos with switch locks, and two of them were very rough at first, and it took me playing with them for days before things smoothed out. The Adamas auto in the top left broke after a couple months, which is pretty annoying for a $550 knife. I need to send it back to be fixed, but I haven't felt like it.

Just saw a genuinely good looking couple as I was getting lunch. They stuck out. I observed multiple people checking them out almost powerless to resist. The man tall and lean with a chiseled jaw and jeans and cowboy boots. The woman with a floral dress of yellow blue.
But, 90% of the work was accomplished being thin and well-groomed and turned out.
