Commercial activists and online deplorables are so shameless.
Celebrating the death of MP Johanna Ngeno just because he voted YES for the 2024 Finance Bill is cringe.
He's a father, husband, son and uncle to someone.
He has dependants who relied on him for fees, rent, and various bills.
People must learn to separate politics from matters pertaining to health and deaths. It can be anyone.
If you are celebrating his death SHAME ON YOU.

@kotparkland What do you expect us to do with the new cash cow trend in town?

In 2020, I said 'NO' to this guy because I was young, naive, and still in my teens, while he was three years older.
A few months later, he traveled out of the country to pursue his MSc.
Fast forward to two weeks ago—I ran into him again. We were super excited to see each other after almost six years. We hugged and even kissed. He was looking way too good to resist.
In a hurry, I asked for his number so we could reconnect and have a proper conversation. You won’t believe it, this guy just said NO. And said bluntly to my face that I rejected him 6yrs ago, and then walked away.
How can a man harbour a rejection of a teenage girl for six years?
I honestly wished the ground would just open up and swallow me whole. 😭😭😭

@hon_wamuchomba Ati 'I will allow Loot.all government in peace'. Kwani asipo govern hakutakua na peace? What do you know?

Mlima,
Let us accept that we live in a Kenya that other communities occupy and that our numbers can be a political tool to bargain or a weapon to demolish .
A tool to ensure that we get into a bargain with whoever is in power . Without entitlement, we can respectfully negotiate without blackmail.
President Uhuru did so in 2009 and agreed to have President Ruto support him into presidency in 2013.
They agreed on 10:10 years support pact . We are almost there in to fulfilling it.
Uhuru managed to stabilize a country that was on the verge of anarchy .
He became our true king Pin.
We are now at our worst times, where our difference’s aren’t external; they are internal .Where leaders from our community are attacking each others in every forum including in solemn events like funerals and sacred places such churches.
Infact, other communities are laughing at us as we tear each other out.
We have broken the records and mutilated the very fabric that we swore not to .
Hatred has become our currency.
Every social media page is full of hatred and whining .
Our local radio stations are amplifying hate, malice and propaganda bringing down homes , businesses and careers. Gossip and fake news are trending.
I was in the media space in 1998, 2003 towards 2007 I know what I know. The HAGUE debacle wasn’t fun. We all said DONT BE VAGUE, GO TO HAGUE. We regretted .
I write this piece with tears in my eyes when I remember what I saw and experienced.
I swore never to be at it again and will never agree to beat tribal drums again .
Now the Gen X and Zee may not have a feel of Election violence, they grew up
In peace and respect.
They may not know the costs of violence , pain of internally displaced persons .The pain of forced migration, the pain of mass graves .
I have made a conscious decision to allow President Ruto to Govern in peace. Reminding him of responsibility as a steward of the country and help him recover the lost trusts and achievements.
This is not a guarantee of a future political score, for politics is not a do or die affair for me .
I carry the duty of those who elected me ; to serve them and lobby for their interests. They didn’t send me to fight governments, they sent me to defend them, which I have done in
Parliament and in other arena head high .
I believed in kumi ya Uhuru , and committed to kumi ya Ruto .
I elected him in 2017 knowing very well he’s not from Mlima and so I will support him knowing the same.
Kenya is bigger than Mlima
Kenya is for all of us .
I hold a Kenyan degree not a Mlima degree .
I am a daughter of Mlima but I live with daughters of other hills and valleys.
I refuse to be a prisoner of tribal hatred just to be politically correct .
You don’t have to support William Ruto but shun the tribal hatred and promote coexistence.
Let’s shun tribal hatred.
Respectfully,
The Duchess of Githunguri.

@ignyharaz2 Mtu anaeza toa wapi hizo refurbished bikes?Tuchanue mkuu
Diana, Kenya 🇰🇪 Español

In another episode of how to legally earn money, I bring you a business idea of ksh. 200k.
Please know that coaches never play, but still most of these ideas are viable, and yes it's something I've done sometimes back.
Ayaah, ukiwa na 100Gs usiende kitengela zile ex UK hushushwa na container za 20k .
Zii visit shimo ya refurbished you'll get bikes at all sizes za kids na wazee.
Size 24 bike fiti ikiwa na shocks na gear za Shimano should cost you ksh. 10k. Zingine ziko below that .
Nice, this is how you'll work, a person pays ksh. 100 to hire a bike per hour, but kama ni stranger anaacha either Simu, ID, ama pesa juu ya trust issue, take him pictures just in case apotee na bike.
Ukiwa na 15 bikes on a good weekend comrades ama lover birds will hire a bike kuzunguka taon ndo wakate weight, ku hire the whole day ni 500 na all repairs are on you.
Hapo hukosi 10k yako on weekends.
Weekdays tembea hizo estates ukifunza wana za matajiri kuride at a monthly fee ama unawapea bikes alipange kwa mwezi hata 3k.
Other days wewe expect tu kila bike ikuwe hired one Hour per day so out say 10 bikes uko zao yako swafi.
You'll bag 1k till Friday and 10k sure bet on weekends. That's say 15k weekly from hires.
Risks ziko hapa ni upee zombie kisululu yako alafu ahepe nayo akuachie id na huezi mtrace.
Another risk ni accidents, mtu aumie ibidi ujiundie bike.
On a good month you'll bag more than 30k ukitaka na ikiwa rahisi.
Similarly, ikikauka, organise hizo trips funny funny za Muli using bikes uskie mnaenda kanunga falls, anti gravity, karura forest once a month and charge 1k kwa kila bike then buy the free drinks.
If it works as planned you'll be rich, if it doesn't, you'll be rich by selling those bikes at almost the same price.
Location: University
Estates and gated communities
A busy town.
For those doubting me, i used to work with Mutambo tours huko MMUST before i opened my place huku.

@ouma_neko @imbankke @AbsaKenya hawa unalala unapata balance iko less na 2k with no explanation.
Wezi tupu lwa hizi banks.

My Experience With I&M Bank Read This Before You Trust Them With Your Money
I’ve banked with @imbankke for years and this year alone I moved roughly 7–13 million shillings through my account. Recently, I withdrew 2 million legitimate proceeds from my business.
A week later, I walked back into the branch like I always do and suddenly I was being bounced from the teller to the manager and back again.
Without warning, my account was frozen with close to 5 million shillings locked inside. December. Festive season. School fees coming in January. Zero access to my own money.
They demanded “source of funds” explanations which I gave. They even contacted the source. Still, I was dragged in circles while my life and business were put on hold.
Out of frustration, I involved my lawyer.
Then things got worse.
On 15th December, I received a call from a stranger asking to meet. During that meeting, I was told in plain language that my account could be “helped” and I’d regain access to my money on the condition that I hand over 30% of the total balance.
Think about that. Thirty. Percent. Of my own hard-earned money.
After that, I was suddenly being moved from office to office at the bank and yes, the account was reopened.
Let me be clear: ordinary Kenyans are out here working themselves to the bone to escape poverty while some of the very institutions trusted to keep our money safe are busy squeezing us when we’re most vulnerable.
My advice as someone who has gone through this: Avoid I&M Bank. What I’ve experienced there has destroyed every bit of trust I had in them.
Young Kenyans protect yourselves. Don’t assume the people guarding the vault are on your side. Hunger is everywhere, even in the banking halls.

This is truly heartbreaking.
On 18/12/2025, yesterday, a woman was drugged while traveling on an Embassava bus. A man who was allegedly seated next to her drugged her and made away with her two years’ worth of savings.
The most touching part is when her son comes to comfort her. That moment hits different — raw, painful, and deeply human.

On a serious note, why have you normalised your name and phone numbers being displayed on the text message to the recipient of your M-Pesa transaction?
Isn't this a serious breach of your private data?
Yes, it is.
The recipient of your money should only see the transaction code, the amount received and the date and time of the transaction. Your phone number and name in the text message should be truncated or blurred.
The @CA_Kenya has chosen to ignore this serious violation perpetuated by Telcos because this is how our data is mined and sold to rogue microfinance and scammers.
Our names and phone numbers are unique and are tied to our ID and biometrics, including in the election database.
The communication authority should instruct mobile phone companies that have stored our private data to urgently truncate our names and phone numbers and keep them private.
