Why are the youths not contributing money to buy forms for the members of their generation to contest elections, but prefer to buy forms for the political elites ‘that failed their generation’.Why not transform their Social Media energy to Political Energy. Why are they not taking advantage of the opportunity provided by the NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN ACT?

@ADEYEMI58234031 @ADCVanguard_ This has always been my position.

@ADCVanguard_ I'm not really bothered about these parties coming together to form any alliance, but the real and undeniable fact is that they are yet to tell nigerians what they want to do that are different and how they intend to achieve them. Rather, they've been busy about rescuing power.

@Ask_of_Bigshaq @ruffydfire To eat with the devil you need a long spoon. Any party that wants power from a ruling party needs to tjink and wprk ahead of the ruling party.

@Obaah_Chief @ruffydfire For a party convention? Was it not the same convention APC held in Abuja few weeks back? This government is just playing dirty politics
English

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has alleged that the owner of its planned convention venue is under pressure to deny the party access, despite a valid agreement and full payment for the facility.
In a statement issued on the eve of its convention, the party said the management of Rainbow Event Centre informed it that it had come under intense pressure from the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to cancel the booking.

During our time in the Senate,we spent almost the whole four years escorting our Senate President Bukola Saraki to multiple Courts in Abuja. In one court it’s forgery and criminal conspiracy and in another it’s false declaration of assets.Sometimes I had to attend to my own Civil and Criminal charges in Kaduna, then rushed to Abuja to escort him.Senator Dino too was dragged to Courts in Abuja and Kogi were he had issues with the Governor. At a point, Brother Dino had to climb a tree to save himself from the toxicity and fangs of power.
Power is brutal not just in Nigeria.Trump Was also Criminally charged to different Courts and he too is today charging some of his critics.
Anything you see happening today had happened yesterday.
Those of you who are young and want to seek for public office in the future, just prepare yourself for the two sides of power; The Sweet side and the lethal side.

@ruffydfire It was said in a pubkic event self. Is this not a call for the ADC to get their acts together and reconcile the feuding parties?

JUST IN: President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, has been caught on video openly advising Leke Abejide, a key figure in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), to remain in the party and “fight them… scatter them.”
In the viral video, Gbajabiamila, while speaking with Abejide, urged him not to abandon the ADC despite ongoing leadership crises and court battles rocking the opposition party.
“I know you to be a committed party man. I know you to be a fighter… So please, my charge to you is to stay in that same ADC. Fight them. Scatter them! Hold on to your party, ADC. Do not abandon them. We like what you are doing. Continue,” Gbajabiamila said.
He dismissed suggestions that Abejide should leave the ADC, insisting that the party belongs to him since he built it “with your sweat and your money.”
“Don’t mind them — the former Governor said that you should come and join… No, no, no. Stay in ADC. Win your election in ADC as you will. Bring Dada Gombe… Those of us in support… Do the right thing. You are a fighter,” he added.
Gbajabiamila further encouraged Abejide to fight in court to retain control of the party.
The explosive video has sparked massive outrage online, with many accusing the Tinubu administration of actively working to destabilise the opposition ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections. Watch the video in the comment section.
