Republicans will continue to fight to pass the SAVE America Act & deliver on the mandate given to us by the American people.   The only reason why Democrats would oppose this bill is because they WANT illegal aliens who came in during the four years of Joe Biden’s open-border policies to be able to cast a ballot.   We won’t let that happen. The SAVE America Act will make our elections more secure & harder to cheat.   youtu.be/n_3hPDwoq0c

@greggutfeld And of course, that's the straw man deflection. Google "poll tax." We'll wait.

@PropBeta If all these situations always conform with approved operation, why ask the question?

@PropBeta Then why raise the possibility that the capture "may be outside of what's certified in a normal flight situation?"

@Obornee The videos I posted confirm that fact. Unless you believe those airliners were being operated illegally at events like sanctioned airshows which are monitored by the FAA or during certification processes which again, are monitored by the FAA and often have members on board.

@PropBeta Actually, it is you who raised that... which is the point I'm making. There are serious legal and safety consequences to operating outside of what's approved and it happens, as others in the thread have pointed out.

@Obornee There's no such thing as a "normal flight situation" the aircraft is either operated within its flight envelope or it isn't. You could argue that the video shows it being operated outside of company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) but we have no way of knowing that.

@PropBeta It's you who raised the possibility that the capture may be outside of what's certified in a normal flight situation. That aircraft is known for its light weight, power, top speed and climb rate, but a nearly vertical assent, not that I can find. Or that you have documented.

@PropBeta Your initial claim was this capture could during certification, in practice for an airshow, or to demonstrate performance in a controlled environment, none of which jibe with the claim that it's certified for that climb.

@Obornee FAR Part 23 and Part 91, as well as the aircraft specific POH/AFM (Pilot Operating Handbook/Aircraft Flight Manual)

@PropBeta The legit answer would be the aircraft specific POH/AFM, which I don't think is available on line unless you have a URL...?

@Obornee That's not how certification works. Aircraft like the Phenom series are rated for specific positive and negative g limits and prohibited from acrobatic maneuvers. That's a climb, not an acrobatic maneuver. Yes, it's certified for that climb.

@PropBeta OMG That appears to be an Embraer Phenom 300. You're claiming it's certified for such a maneuver...

@PropBeta Your contention is that this maneuver has been certified safe on a corporate aircraft. If you know of one, please advise.

@Obornee You're conflating pitch angle and angle of attack. The pitch angle is much greater than the angle of attack. You see and feel the pitch angle. The wings and engine care about angle of attack. They're not the same thing.

@PropBeta It's clear you don't know a lot of things, including what a far greater than 15 degree climb clearly looks like. Yammer on.

@Obornee Was this during certification, was it practice for an airshow, was it to demonstrate performance in a controlled environment? 3) Steep climbs don't inherently induce added risks. Most commercial and general aviation, modern jets are rated for pitch angles up to 15 degrees+/-.

@Obornee @xAviation Yes, it absolutely relates to operating within the structural and performance envelopes, and this pilot is comfortably inside both.

@DanKosovsky It’s a suboptimal AI too. I didn’t say it was a hoax, nor did I I deny Russian interference. But the collusion part was BS and mueller would have known that a week into the probe. He was bullied by his deputies.
