Can’t get the media to report a story the way you want them to? Just pick up a mic, write a script for your interviewee (make sure both of you say “failed” a bunch of times - that definitely makes it seem authentic), and just do it yourself, like city councilor @PeterMeiszner. Doesn’t seem desperate at all 🙄 #Vanpoli
Peter Meiszner@PeterMeiszner

I had the chance to speak with downtown Vancouver resident Paul Tolnai about the growing concerns from neighbours regarding @VCHhealthcare’s proposed OPS site at Helmcken and Hornby, and the continued forceful rollout of this failed model without community consultation. #vanpoli

There is no comparison between the Quebec and Alberta separation movements. Quebec separation is based on being a distinct society and culture. Alberta separation is based on money and the perception of some of being wronged.

@JustinMackinno2 @Cndn4Life @MarcWest79 Okay if we are arguing Culture vs a Distinct culture that’s a completely different conversation. You do realize Culture doesn’t have to be special or unique to still be considered culture right ? If that is your logic what makes Toronto and New Yorks culture different ?

@OffRj61831 @Cndn4Life @MarcWest79 That is distinct culture. A language, a dialect, a music tradition, a food culture, a communal ritual, and a shared historical transformation that applies to no one else

@JustinMackinno2 @Cndn4Life @MarcWest79 A language being protected by law is not culture if that’s your criteria for culture idk what to tell you. If that is your logic no province has culture besides Quebec. Remind me again how does a different regional dialect correlate to culture ?

@OffRj61831 @Cndn4Life @MarcWest79 Quebec has a language protected by law that no other province has. They have Joual, a dialect so distinct that French speakers from France struggle to understand it, with its own literature and comedy tradition built around it. They have the chansonnier tradition, a folk music.

@JustinMackinno2 @Cndn4Life @MarcWest79 You do realize industries form the provincial culture right ? If a province is a mass producer of potato’s and the majority of the people in that province work in that field their way of life is heavily influenced. Please define to me what culture is ?

I, as a Canadian will buy whatever liquor I please regardless of what country it comes from. I will travel to the US whenever I want especially Florida. 😎 I definitely don’t believe Trump ruined Canada, because Canada got fucked by Trudeau well over 10 years. Take your liberal elbows and shove them up your ass. How's that working for you so far?

@JustinMackinno2 @Cndn4Life @MarcWest79 I love how you are asking me the values of Ontarios rural famers do I live in Ontario? How am I suppose to know you think farm culture is universal? Are Texas and Calgary farms producing the same products?

@JustinMackinno2 @Cndn4Life @MarcWest79 And yet Alberta leads the country in revenue when it comes to Agriculture and Farming. You truly do not understand how engrained that culture is in Alberta. We are a flat province with acres on acres of farm land in the rural parts .

@JustinMackinno2 @Cndn4Life @MarcWest79 I see what you did there asking a rhetorical question trying to be smart, Farms are farms regardless of where they are. But what differentiate a farming culture to just having farms is how much a province depends on that said farming and the traditional values it brings

@trentlpare @MrJoKeR604 I’m going to be honest as much as you hate America, we cannot deny geography. Canada and America are so interconnected that is impossible to cut them off as a trading partner I hope you know that. We consume and use American products and media everyday for our whole lives

Tim Horton's is an overrated majority owned American/Brazilian company with shit food, shit coffee, shit donuts, and relies on loopholes with foreign workers. I've never understood hype.

A Canadian woman from the Toronto area is going viral on TikTok for calling out perpetual TFW abuser Tim Horton's for their terrible food quality at MULTIPLE locations, the poor service from the employees they continue to hire and she vows to never freqent another Tim's restaurant again. When her post got a lot of traction online, @TimHortons slid into the comment section to try to do damage control (while our young Canadians face a massive unemployment crisis). /1
