 Officials at the press conference reported that around 1:30 PM EST, a man who has since been identified as Maxwell Azzarello, from St. Augustine, Florida, set himself on fire outside the courthouse, where former President Trump's trial is underway. Maxwell Azzarello walked into the park, opened a backpack, and threw paper pamphlets titled 'The True History of the World.' He published an online manifesto full of conspiracies, explaining why he was taking such an extreme act. Then, he poured a container of flammable liquid on himself. He is in critical condition but alive. His last post was singing "Start a F*cking Revolution.

**Police Investigation- North Garland High School Incident** Post: May 24, 2023 The Garland Police Department is aware of a recent video that was posted online involving a Garland Police SRO and a student at North Garland High School. The video captures the end of an incident that involved multiple large school fights and assaults, that were occurring simultaneously in the school hallway. GISD sent home 10 students involved in the fight and the school is investigating additional students who may have been involved. The Garland Police Department is opening an internal investigation to ensure officers acted appropriately.

@KimiKouture I know DISD has a program in place to rent out Chromebooks for free to in-need students and Spectrum is providing 2 months free internet for low-income families, particularly for this reason.

As I’m looking at all the school work my son has to do & virtual class meetings on Zoom... i can’t help but wonder how children who can’t afford WiFi or computers are able to do their work considering all libraries and apartment computer rooms are closed.
