#Crew96 can't afford Casemiro's reported contract ask. Hell, Manchester United isn't willing to pay him beyond this season unless he takes a pay cut and he's arguably been their second-best player this season. Frankly, I'm not sure I buy LA or Miami (especially Miami) being able to afford him unless he just wants to live in those cities. The final thing is, he's 34 and can't do a lot of the physical things asked of a No. 6 any more. It's part of the reason United aren't willing to pay him as much to stay. The Gomes addition was a bit of a surprise at 32. The Crew has a clear track record when looking at international players. It was a silly rumor in the offseason and it definitely ain't happening now. The Crew signed their central midfielder.
