Successfully reconstructed the NDC logo, maintained the integrity of the logo and colour, but that initial colour combination is diabolical. That said, once he is announced as the presidential candidate, design assets will be made public. We are on stand by.

I recently uploaded 19 of my skeumorphic icons on the Figma Community just incase you might need any at some point. All in editable vector formats and designed in @figma What the statement above simply means is that you can pick a blue icon from here and easily change it to green, red, pink or whatever fits your brand. You can also animate these in Rive or export for a Framer build or Vibecoding. The best part is, you can pick just a part of any of the icons. For example, the Ticket or sales labels are literally sub icons of their own. Each of the food item from the grocery bag can be used in isolation too. Link in thread👇👇

I’m of the believe that there’s little to no correlation between taste (music, books, movies) and intelligence because our taste in entertainment is very largely influenced by our environment. People just say this a lot to feel good about themselves. For some reasons, humans have this need to feel superior to the next person. I don’t understand why. And they’ll try to squeeze it out in the most random of places.

Design assessments are getting ridiculous and I don’t think we’re talking about it enough. How is “design a full dispatch scheduling system for an oil & gas company” a test?? Not just a few screens, a full system: Admin dashboard, worker flows, group assignments, movement tracking, reporting, even GPS-based check-ins. That’s not an assessment. That’s a product. Then you add “earliest and best submission will be selected” so now it’s unpaid work and a speed test. And the part that really threw me off… Who is this even for? No clear company presence, no real product context, just a highly detailed brief asking people to design an entire system from scratch. It feels less like a hiring process and more like idea mining. Because what exactly are you evaluating? It’s no longer just design skill. You’re filtering for who has the most free time, who can drop everything, who is willing to overextend themselves for a maybe. If an assessment takes more than a few hours, pay for it. Anything else is just… very suspicious behaviour. A designer’s existing work should already tell you what you need to know. If it doesn’t, the problem is probably how you’re evaluating them and not the designer.

built my personal todo app, i wanted something simple, fun and to explore my interaction skills. no due date, no tags, it has only one layer of priority and with gestures you can prioritize, delete and drag. also, checkmark emojis burst when you check an item done and also when you change the list emoji.
