The EU has offered Ukraine technical support and funding. The Ukrainians have welcomed and accepted this offer. European experts are available immediately. Our priority is to ensure energy security for all European citizens. In this sense, we will continue to work with the concerned parties on alternative routes for the transit of non-Russian crude oil to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

I am a Ukrainian, an independent Ukrainian blogger and journalist. I support the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán @PM_ViktorOrban , and I thank him for not bowing to the usurper and autocrat Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Today Zelenskyy has effectively usurped power in Ukraine. He persecutes his critics, arrests political opponents, and uses mobilization as a tool of repression. People are sent to war where they die, while none of Zelenskyy’s close associates or friends are mobilized or fighting. At the same time, Zelenskyy and his friends profit from the war. Many of his friends and business partners today are connected to the defense industry, particularly to the production of drones and missiles. This is why Zelenskyy is not interested in ending the war quickly. Zelenskyy also refuses to hold elections, hiding behind the war as an excuse. Moreover, he refuses to voluntarily step down from office, although he has every right to do so. Instead, he wants to remain in power without elections. Those who criticize the authorities are persecuted. In Ukraine there are illegal detentions and kidnappings of citizens on the streets. People are held by force and subjected to pressure. Many men today are afraid to even go outside because of forced mobilization. People are kidnapped, tortured, and forced to go to the front. According to relatives of the victims, sometimes large sums of money are demanded — tens of thousands of dollars — to avoid being sent to war. In this situation, many Ukrainians are forced to flee the country. They risk their lives, crossing borders through forests, rivers, and mountains to reach European countries. One of these countries is Hungary. I am grateful to Hungary for providing protection to Ukrainian citizens. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are leaving their country today. And often they do so not only because of Russian missiles, but also because of fear of the actions of their own authorities and the system of forced mobilization. The Ukrainian people and the Hungarian people should live in peace and mutual understanding. Our countries must engage in honest and open diplomatic dialogue. There must be real diplomacy between Ukraine and Hungary, not the language of banditism used by Zelenskyy.

No one can threaten Hungary or its Prime Minister. No one can blackmail us just because we refuse to pay the price of Ukraine’s war and refuse to accept higher energy prices because of Ukraine. In his reply today, @PM_ViktorOrban made the causal link unmistakably clear: Hungary cannot be expected to support decisions financially favorable to Ukraine while Ukraine intends to create an energy emergency in Hungary by blocking oil transit. We know for a fact that there are no technical obstacles to restarting deliveries through the Druzhba pipeline. It requires only a political decision in Kyiv. We have blocked Ukraine’s €90 billion war loan, and we will not vote for any decision in Brussels supporting Ukraine as long as President @ZelenskyyUa does not return to normality. No matter how much pressure they try to exert on us, until Ukraine resumes crude oil deliveries, ▪️we will not supply diesel, ▪️we will not support the war loan to Ukraine, ▪️and we will not vote for another sanctions package. We will not play along with an oil blockade directed against our own country — we will dismantle it. Brussels and Kyiv should have no doubt about that.

The situation is simple. Hungary and Slovakia are members of the European Union. Ukraine is not. Yet Brussels is siding with Ukraine against its own member states. But at today’s Foreign Affairs Council, the discussion will once again focus on putting pressure on Hungary rather than on Ukraine. Meanwhile, there is no technical or operational reason preventing the restart of oil transit to Hungary and Slovakia via the Druzhba pipeline. It’s therefore obvious that Ukraine’s decision is purely political, an attempt to pressure Hungary in coordination with Brussels and the Hungarian opposition. We will not give in to blackmail.

Поки існують ЗСУ існує Україна. Мені соромно це писати, адже немає зараз більшої несправедливості, ніж виплати військовим. Все, що технічно можливо виділити на військо вже виділяється. Тому парламенту доведеться знайти спосіб зробити неможливе.
