I was working the 2022 election cycle when I saw Uvalde still vote Republican after that school shooting and something in me broke. I know I’m wrong for feeling this way but my empathy has been drained. I don’t know how to fix it.

I’m stunned that Speaker Johnson has gone to such great lengths to stop new parents from being able to vote and represent their constituents after welcoming a child. He was even willing to shut down the House after we defeated his attempt to kill our resolution. It’s time we bring the Congress out of the dark ages and address the workplace challenges of today. We need more moms and young families represented in Washington and a large majority of my colleagues agree that it’s time to change the way we do things. @SpeakerJohnson, LET US VOTE.

@BuckSexton At one time there wasn’t any seat preference. You booked a flight together, your seats were assigned together. This picking seats is the airlines way of skimming more money. If she paid extra for her seat she shouldn’t move but this is the airlines fault.

Effective tomorrow, Trump will impose 25% tariffs on all products Americans buy from Canada and Mexico, and 10% tariffs on all products they buy from China. Assuming no exemptions, that's a $250 billion tax increase on Americans, which equates to about $2K per household per year.
