Ryan French from Monday Q Info reports that LIV Golf is about to shut down. Speaking on X Spaces last night, Ryan said: “I think everybody should probably stay near their phones… “I have some pretty good sources and I’ve heard that some other people have sources that LIV is shutting down.” Later on in the episode, he said: “I’ve got everything from, and these are people that I trust, that you guys know. Players didn’t get paid today, power went out because the bill wasn’t paid, employees didn’t get paid. Stuff like that. “There is definitely a lot going on… Things are not good.” Ryan is very well connected and respected in the professional golf world. He would not be saying this unless he was certain something was coming. Expect this story to move fast. @acaseofthegolf1

Ive heard from multiple sources that a bombshell announcement on LIVs future is imminent. We don't give out gambling advice but If your’re a prediction market type person I would bet the under of whatever they have posted.

Thoughts from Cypress Point: -Cypress Point Club is AWESOME -Easily top 5 course I’ve ever played. It’s a slightly shorter more fun and exciting course compared to Pebble. The greens are super undulating as a typical Mackenzie design. Some really small pockets and tiers that make for super fun shots where like Augusta, you can play away from pins to roll it closer. -The three distinct styles of trees, dunes, ocean all have unique shapes and designs. The massive dunes especially made the course visually great and also a unique challenge -I got to see two different sides of Cypress. It was beautiful and calm for the front nine and then it got WINDY starting on 11… like golf ball not staying on green windy. -The members that hosted me were awesome to play with and great people. Had lunch overlooking the 16th hole and the ocean. What a day. -If I could only play one course for the rest of my life, I’m pretty sure it’d be Cypress Point.

We have a brand new Most Interesting Man in Golf! At the very least, go watch the first swing and the one at 58 seconds. I have no idea how this is possible. If someone can explain those swings in technical terms, I’d love to hear it. 😂

My (truthful and accurate) statement in response to Gary Player: Unfortunately Mr. Player’s statements about the sale of replica trophies are not accurate. Shortly after the COVID pandemic began, Gary Player’s company had serious cash flow issues and reached out to a number of auction houses to sell its collection of replica trophies in order to meet payroll. Golden Age then facilitated a private transaction between Gary Player’s Black Knight International company and a private buyer. The net proceeds of this sale were paid directly to Gary Player’s Black Knight International. The private buyer then sold some of the trophies, including this exact same replica 1974 Claret Jug at public auction in November 2020. Mr. Player was well aware of those sales back in 2020, and he was aware of them when he made these contradictory statements today. While Golden Age has the utmost respect for what Mr. Player accomplished as a golfer, his inaccurate statements are simply not acceptable under any circumstances. The government will chip in almost $3m to slash the Moore Park Golf Course in half, with proposals to cut the facility down to nine holes to forge ahead over the next year. MORE 👉 bit.ly/4cndOgH
