@jarodhitchcock @mikeclaytongolf It would work if the players were willing to take a hefty pay cut. Overall media rights would shrink with all those different time zones (US Tour generates $700M/year tv). Tennis has a tour that resembles that proposed 1977 schedule - they play for a lot less money than golfers.

If somebody at the @PGATOUR doesn’t have an apology letter to Hideki Matsuyama written and published by sunset, he might be signed with LIV before halftime of the Super Bowl. They may not be able to control dickhead fans yelling out, but they can certainly apologise for them.

@fried_egg_golf And yet there he was, with a putt to win and half of a two-man playoff. Don’t underestimate what international viewers thought of the fan behaviour on two of his final three shots.
