Phong Le’s family fled Vietnam after their wealth was confiscated and their currency reset. This is why property rights matter. This is why Bitcoin matters.

🚨 JAMES WEBB JUST FOUND A BABY UNIVERSE WITH A FULL-GROWN MONSTER INSIDE The James Webb Space Telescope has a talent for humiliating our cosmic textbooks, but this time it went full disrespect: It spotted a galaxy from 570 million years after the Big Bang… hosting a black hole that’s already supersized. Meet CANUCS-LRD-z8.6 - one of those distant “little red dots” that look shy in the infrared but apparently hide absolute demons at their core. Webb’s NIRSpec cracked open its spectrum and, boom: ionized gas whipping around something massive, fast, and very hungry. Tripodi’s team ran the numbers: the black hole isn’t just big for its age - it’s grotesquely overpowered, outweighing a galaxy that’s barely finished assembling its first-generation stars. In other words: the universe’s earliest black holes may have hit the ground running, growing like they knew the universe was on a deadline. If more LRDs show the same pattern, cosmology takes a hit. Models assuming galaxies grow first and black holes follow? Scrapped. The new frontier becomes primordial monsters that formed instantly, expanded violently, and reshaped the infant universe into the quasar jungle we eventually inherited. The question on the table: Did black holes build galaxies, not the other way around? Stay tuned - Webb is just getting warmed up. Source: NASA, NASASpaceflight, @haygenwarren

NASA JUST FOUND A GIANT MOON-MAKING FACTORY IN DEEP SPACE 625 light-years away, NASA’s James Webb telescope spotted a carbon-loaded disk spinning around a baby planet - aka a galactic moon factory. This is how big moons (like Jupiter’s) actually get made: not magic, not aliens - just gas, dust, and time. The planet’s cooking up ingredients like benzene, acetylene, and other carbon-heavy molecules... while its parent star’s disk? Just water. Translation: the planet’s chemistry lab is way more hardcore than the star’s. Webb is basically watching baby moons being built in real time. Your move, Jupiter. It’s been an amazing ride! While my conscience remains clear through all of the noise and accusations, I’m grateful to have so many great people to draw strength from in times like this. Still standing tall!

Are you wondering why New Zealand rugby appears to be in an unstoppable slide into sporting irrelevancy? Listen to this incredible interview with its CEO and you’ll know exactly why its crashing. Heather Du Plessis-Allan asks about the unpopular decision to do a haka in support of the Maori Party hikoi. Her questions are quite reasonable and fair. In reply Mr Robinson utters a plethora of meaningless word salads made up of empty management buzz terms. It is one of the most appalling interviews I’ve ever heard. (numerous long pauses where Mr Robinson struggles to frame his answers have been cut out) Mark also suggests the action had the full support of the team. However leaks from within suggest this was not the case, and that some players were unhappy with the haka and refused to take part in the flag photo. IMHO NZ rugby won’t escape its tailspin as long as Mark stays at the helm. It is a complete mystery to me as to how someone who thinks and speaks so incoherently ever got the job in the first place? @NZNationalparty @actparty @nzfirst

Two years ago, people thought she was crazy for paying $35 million for a women’s soccer team. It turned out to be a bargain. Why Michele Kang is buying teams around the world. wsj.com/sports/soccer/… via @WSJ

Here's a Pic of the Pylon that's down in Northland. I have to ask... where is the concrete the bloody thing is buried in? We have one on the farm here and it's bolted to concrete feet. Where's the Concrete! Has someone unbolted it!??

The MicroStrategy treasury (193k Bitcoin), jumped in fiat value by $470,727,000 USD since 5 hours ago. If the software business makes $75M per year, that means 6.3 years worth of work by the entire company was potentially captured in just 5 hours. Things getting spicy out here...🌶️
