Interesting observation I noticed. Wallet #17 just sent 758K $KAS to wallet #1 in the same seconds that it received 2.2M $KAS. As far as I can tell this is the first time wallet #17 has interacted with wallet #1.

My conviction is unchanged...just had some shit stuff happening in my private life. And one of the reasons for lack of activity is that the current Kaspa version (programability) is a bit more difficult for me and I dont feel I am having some sort of a special edge over other interesting kaspa accounts who can provide relevant info. And I dont want to just paste some AI made posts about topics I am not "expert" at...

Kaspa hashrate collapse Mining activity is one of the most important metrics for any proof of work crypto currency. Over the years we have seen sharp increase in kaspa:native hash rate and from January 2025 a continuous downtrend (price peaked several months before). Typical btc maxi opinion would be a death spiral and a guaranteed downtrend in price towards zero. However, my opinion is a bit different due one major difference (compared to bitcoin). The difference is Kaspa emission schedule - as we all know, its 4 times accelerated compared to most known bitcoin's one. Mining is a regular business as any other - if the free market provides economic incentives to join we cant be surprised to see new participants (or current one adding new capex) to join. Unfortunate byproduct of such scenario is that once the initial excessive emission runs out you will have to (inevitably) see a huge drop in mining activity. Its not because Kaspa is bad or sth is wrong with the protocol. Its pure rational behaviour of market participants and nothing else. Imagine bitcoin having the same emission schedule - you can be 100% sure that there would be similar hash rate drops in its past. However, it does not change anything in respect to long term sustainability - Kaspa needs adoption and active fee market (or tail emission) Was asking Michael Sutton re increase in fees already in December 2024 (way before it was considered an issue by anybody here)...unfortunately my idea is not possible for base layer (x.com/michaelsuttoni…). Luckily, Toccata fork introduced a booster but this will probably not be sufficient in the long run. The key will always be a true adoption via killer apps -> Kaspa enables such a technological and social rails (decentralization) that there is a decent chance to make it but nothing is guaranteed here. Btw. We could see a similar drop in bitcoin hash rate chart soon as well - I did some analysis in respect to listed miners and the true mining costs per 1 bitcoin are way higher than usually presented on social medias. But that is for a different post (maybe 😃)

$SOL They refuse to accept that their favorite altcoin will never hit ATHs again. This was the perfect exit pump FTX needed to offload. Do the homework on token inflation. Imagine buying an asset when the Solana Foundation can print new tokens out of thin air. It’s a classic VC driven coin with massive supply concentration in the hands of a few insiders and funds. You think SOL organically went from $7 to $300 cause of "demand" 🤣 How do you realistically attract large buyers when the second you purchase, you instantly become exit liquidity for those same concentrated holders? Don't hate the player, hate the game. It is what it is. Plenty of major projects died in the 2017–2018 cycle, and we’ll see the same thing happen again and again.
