I saw a post by someone claiming a certain tycoon in Uganda put up a building of $300m. There is no single individual in Uganda ( Madhavani, Wavamunno, Sudhir, Ham Kiggundu, etc.) who can raise that money in one go and invest it in a single project. No one. This is 1.1trn.

It is regrettable that the Anti Pornographic Committee yesterday made seemingly unfounded statements against New Best Hotel over claims that it is linked to pornography-related activities. Today, I went on ground at the premises of New Best Hotel to establish the facts, and I was informed(with proof) that the Hotel has, since 2018, maintained strict and verifiable compliance measures: no minors admitted (18+ strictly enforced through valid identification), zero tolerance for any pornographic content both on-site and online, continuous staff training to detect and prevent violations, and CCTV monitoring alongside routine compliance inspections. What is concerning is the apparent rush by that committee to do public condemnation without due process or re-verification. I beg our regulatory bodies to act within fairness, objectivity, and evidence and not mere assumptions🙏🏿🙏🏿

ABANDONED NEGLECTED NOW DANGEROUS‼️

Hope you are well.
What happened to Kyaliwajjala-Kira-Kasaganti road works? It’s been decades and there’s no progress.
Since the project was abandoned, all the temporary signs have either been removed or damaged, the open ditches have become living hazards, drainage are blocked.
When it rains, it floods, when it shines it’s dusty. And with no signs or any speed controls on smooth stretches, the lives of schoolchildren and other pedestrians are in danger with the speeding motorists.
Any hope that this road will be fixed and made safer for all?
