@StdenisKatie @cnnbrk They weren’t crossing at a 90° angle. It would have been necessary for the passenger side to look far back over their right shoulder to see the plane. No auto intersection would be designed like this without a stop sign being required. They were responding to an emergency.

Capitol Police were attempting to remove an unhinged protestor from the Armed Services hearing. He was fighting back. I decided to help out and deescalate the situation. This gentleman came to the Capitol looking for a confrontation, and he got one. I hope he gets the help he needs without causing further violence.

.@SenSchumer is incapable of telling the truth. After 44 YEARS in Congress, he pretends not to understand the Senate’s rules. As every 8th grade Civics student knows, it takes 60 votes to end the Schumer Shutdown. Since we only have 53 Republicans, we must have a handful of Senate Democrats do the right thing this week and vote to reopen the government. It’s time to stop the political games!
