What do you care about the safety of the American people? You proved your apathy in that regard during the BLM/antifa riots that did great damage to average Oregonians while you as Speaker continually supported your close friend, Governor Brown, as she allowed and even encouraged the rioting to continue unchecked. That's who you are, so trying to now claim the moral high ground is hypocrisy at its worst.

In 2020, when the BLM/antifa domestic terrorists were doing massive damage to American cities and committing violent acts that were harming average Americans just trying to live their lives, left-wing extremist governors were allowing their constituents to be endangered for political purposes. Many of us were calling for Trump to nationalize the National Guard in the states (like my own) where the governors refused to protect the people and put a stop to what ended up being more than 3 billion dollars of damage and killing 3 dozen people as well as injuring many more. Trump refused to act with the excuse that he couldn't override the governors' authority over the Guard, despite being repeatedly told that he did, in fact, have the authority. It was frequently speculated that Trump understood that he could act, but chose not to because he feared political blowback in his reelection efforts. I can't prove that charge, but it's a logical conclusion. Fast forward to today, and suddenly Trump has no issues with exercising the authority that he could and should have exercised 5 years ago. My point isn't to criticize Trump's actions in LA, but to point out the fact that Trump cares less about the safety of Americans than politics. Even when Trump is doing the right thing, it's not because it's the right thing but because he thinks he can benefit personally or politically from the act. There's nothing honorable nor presidential in that.

I gave Trump a fair shake but so far economically he’s a failure of epic proportions. I’ll still call balls and strikes but that’s about it. I don’t have any hope that this administration can fix what’s wrong with the country. I’ll still pray for him as I do every day but he’s lost any real support I may have had for him.

Nothing to see here, just the "leader" of our economy that actually thinks what the Fed sets their lending rate to means that we would refinance our debt on the bond market at that same level. He's literally making the argument that if the Fed sets rates to 0%, we can sell our debt for 0% interest

At this point, we all need to focus on the ballot measure to end the corrupt exclusive vote by mail system. It's a seriously uphill battle since it has to be passed in the same corrupt system that it seeks to end. We need to max out the allowed number of observers when the votes are being counted and be as vocal as permitted when discrepancies are observed. Until the exclusive VBM system that voters were fooled into passing is overturned and safeguards (that the dems in the Legislature just blocked) limiting the franchise to citizens are enacted, we're just going to continue the downward spiral that Oregon has been on for the last 2+ decades.

I have no problem with the enforcement of rules, but she still won, and that's not something that can be taken from her. I do have a problem with rules that come down hard on kids being kids while allowing boys to compete against girls just because they want to pretend to be what they're not. She broke the rules as they currently stand, and as cruel as that seems, she should lose her medal. But it just highlights how messed up California's scholastic athletic rules are and how badly they need to be changed. She won, and she can always hold on to that fact, whether or not she has the medal. I'm feel more sorry for the girls who lost their event to a fake female who gets to keep the medal they never earned.

And amazingly, HB2442, a bill that would require proof of citizenship when registering to vote in Oregon, was voted down. Wow.

The Bible is quite clear that the Jews are God's chosen people. Christians are the redeemed, the sons and daughters of God. Jews still must accept the redemption of the crucifixion and resurrection to attain salvation, but that doesn't cancel what God has said. It was necessary for Jesus to be born of David's line, a Jew, in order for Messianic prophecy to be fulfilled. Nowhere in Scripture does it say that God rejected the Jews and replaced them with Christians, just that those who reject His Son are not saved. The church that Jesus spoke of is not synonymous with Israel nor are Christians ever called Israel. When Isaiah spoke of the gathering of God's people from their dispersion, it very clearly refers to the Jews and that gathering of His people is necessary to fulfill the prophesies that follow leading up to the Second Coming.

@mtsand3 @reeseonable Trump claims to be conservative, but his actions say he's not. He has some conservative positions, but he has other positions that are clearly not conservative at all. His economic policies of tariffs and isolationism are straight-up Marxist economics, for example.

There's several prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled, but the gathering of the Jews from their dispersion is the start and necessary for the prophecies that follow. He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth." Isaiah 11:11-12
