The only reliable feature of @QuickBooks QBO was recurring invoices.
Now, users need to either buy or build their own custom recurring-invoicing solution.
If you have recurring invoices that were supposed to fire after 4/1/26, go check them, some are broken.

When QBO launched in 2001, it shipped with a bug.
Every Excel export has a merged bottom row.
The PMs have woken up every day for 20+ years and said "nah, it's fine leave it".

@jasononfirms Especially for small businesses, most of the tools work fine until there is an edge case. The difference maker is the quality of support.
And I challenge you to find a business, in payroll or otherwise, that has worse support than gusto.

We have been using Claude to transcribe bank transactions from check stubs and bank statements into an excel/gsheets file we can copy into the Right Tool batch entry function in QBO. Claude reads handwriting as accurately as we can. We are saving lots of time.

I can share an interesting experience from last week. We have a person who is incharge of buying hardware, software and data sets. This might sound stupid but when you are buying 100s of servers, workstations and laptops a month, it's complicated. This dude used Claude to create an entire tracking and maintanence portal that inventoried everything. He even managed to integrate the portal with our monitoring software to display the status of every server vm. He then modified it to store invoices and so on. He's been at it for a couple of weeks and we've been able to identify wastage and needs. Without Claude, this would have been a maze of spreadsheets and a lot of manual labor. But we wouldn't have hired a developer for this. To me, this kind of software is the killer use case for AI. Enough to simplify your life, but not enough to justify hiring someone or buying a product. Is the code great? Is it scalable? Is it good software engineering? No, no and no. But that's besides the point.

Pretty simple claim. If x, then y. Kristen confirms that her mom disagrees with bezos that him paying higher taxes would have no impact.

NYC revenue from individual taxpayers doubled from 2012 to 2025.
Kristen, does this track with how teachers in Queens are doing? Are their salaries up significantly? Are they saying "when taxes double, like they did over the last decade, we do better, so let's keep increasing the tax revenue, because we'll keep doing better"?
Or is it possible that when tax revenues go up, it doesn't impact you or your mom at all?
