@hitchariide That’s what’s always been confusing to me The league clearly sees the tournament as a “qualifier” to the finals but have just not said that. I think calling it a double elim tourney is just not true too It does suck because you guys should’ve had a bigger advantage all 3 times

Two Best of 5s is a shit grand finals format. There I said it. A 30-40 min final doesn’t do a tournament justice and doesn’t test a team’s map pool at all. It’d still be way worse than the current GF format, but damn it seems like rose tinted glasses on socials

@Its_EasyMac The winners should have a 3-0 advantage if you're not doing two best of 5s or 7s. Imo the best format would either be: - 2 Best of 7s. or - 1 Best of 11 with the winner having a 3-0 Advantage. or - Continuation Best of 11

It’s still be way better* You can NOT have vetoes be the advantage in a finals. They need the Bo9 1-0, which everyone knows is better, hence why it’s used at Champs

@KevData @ChipGotIt_ That's because Ludwig started it authenticly thinking it was going to end within a week, so there was no planning ahead, & Covid was happening at the time. Kai's Subathons had fun moments, but it felt artificial, overly planned out, & felt like he was doing it for money & #1.

@ChipGotIt_ No way 30 day subathons are so much better than the clock run out ones. I don't gaf if their clock runs out. I want the best planned segments. Ludwig's was no where near what Kai's have been.
